I was blessed by Shift Up and Nikke Gods that I was bestowed with both Modernia and ScarBS who helped me defeat this boss at 125k CP at level 194... Else I wouldn't have ever defeated this boss lmao.

If you don't have the proper team of a healer and taunt.. you'll be there for a good minute🫡

for this stage yes, dorothy is the best support, but liter continues to be at top

Zekk have more experience in designing a battle ost than cosmo, this scream endless hordes of raptures.

I don't have Liter yet, but Dorothy is kryptonite for bosses. Pair her with Poli and Laplace, watch the health bar disappear. Congratulations, you just tripled the damage of Laplace Buster. I outpace people 20 levels above me in damage with this team. Not a single EX Stage has taken more than one attempt.

@@ootdega Until they buff her ultimate above 11000% of her attack she will always have mathematically lower damage output than Liter.

@@Mr2Helios Dorothy requires the last bullet to reduce her cooldown which you need privaty for that or you'll be waiting like 4s for your next full burst, unlike Liter just need to upgrade her skill and it will be smooth, repairing covers is also her strength. You'll die quickly in Nihilister's fight without Liter unless you have incredible healing. Dorothy's burst would be wasted on swarm raptures, losing damage in the process. Dorothy shines against bosses.

@@UlasSar And frustrating AF bosses, especially Mother Whale with her infinite oneshot attacks, requiring you either Modernia (I'm grateful I was blessed by Shift Up and I got her) or Dorothy lmao. Thankfully, I believe Mother Whale is the final oneshot heavy boss... Rest all should be piece of cake with levels barring campaign progress.

Hahaha yooo, ngl that took me by surprise!! Even Raptillion too, i thought they were for sure gonna get butchered. With the little bits of lore of of the Mother Whale in those chapters too, i think theres definitely more to these giant Raptures. Seems like they're responsible in a way for their Rapture evolution. If Raptillion can help explain or hook us up with more knowledge about this, the new outpost on the surface is gonna be well armed.

It's not immunity, it changes to a hit-based HP.. units like Modernia still delete them pretty fast and there is also a small window to use an aoe to kill them immediately after they spawn

if you hit her with shotguns, the barrier disappears even if the summons are still alive

@@Tezasaurus I still struggle even with Modernia. There are way too many raptures for Modernia to kill, and the minions do a million damage if you dare spare them. This whole boss is rigged for Dorothy.

Bro. This boss is absolute $#!+. I'd love to see the person who designed this boss's attacks try to defeat this monstrosity with non-pilgrim units, especially Dorothy who fricking bypasses the bullet rate thingy for some reason.

Btw, I defeated it with Liter + Blanc + Modernia + ScarBS + Noir team. Level 194 with 125k CP. I saw a Korean video explaining the 2 types of ariel raptures Mother Whale spawns. One literally one shots you if you don't kill it, and the other shoots puny missiles that deal 1% damage. I timed my burst to make sure Modernia burst when the Ariel units arrived so I could quickly defeat the laser ones before they deleted my Nikkes, and ScarBS heavy investments in skill and overload also helped out quite a lot. She could take out the summoner parts at the side with ease.

Modernia and any of the two scarlet really helps beat the boss

Well its not bug, the rapture is out of the scree and the only thing to see it is vertical mode

I got blessed in my 4th day run and these "master-class raptures" dealt equal damage to all my Nikkes, and my Liter and Bunny girls quickly healed both Cover and HP. And I was able to kill the summon thingies at the side at just the right time. I've discovered that you can at the very least kill the first "master-class rapture" when it appears, and tank the damage head on until one of your Nikke's is very close to disconnecting, and you press space and go on cover right then. Either the cover gets damaged, wiped out, or you manage to the attack.

I think is LV221 , CS is 150K . All equipment are T9 , have 2 overload on both Modernia and scarlet .

Modernia is way better, Scarlet is the next pilgrim to be eclipsed out at this rate because of broken mechanics making it clear things like Snow White stacking or Alice with high OL Ammo are the deal. Modernia does about all Scarlet can and better.

Actually not really , if is fight against 1 boss then she can be a healer but if you have Rapunzel then use Rapunzel cause I use helm in this fight as healer .

Helm is an offensive support. Her skills include an attack buff, crit rate buff, and a burst that grants a life steal buff while massively hitting a single target. She isn't generally used as a steady healer but instead a burst healer where the squad heals itself equal to half of the damage dealt (great for high dps Nikkes). She died in this fight due to bad RNG on the mob barrage and took most of the bombs. I use Helm in place of Rapunzel when I want to push for more damage while still needing HP top off every other Burst 3 use.

I don't really remember but I think is LV221 , CS is around 150K , All equipment are at least T9 , have 2 overload on both Modernia and scarlet . modernia skill is 10-10-10 ( I max all of it ) , scarlet is 10-7-7 , dorothy is 6-7-6 , helm is 5-4-5 (as you can see KIA) and centi is 7-7-7 . I don't think my data would help you much tho.

i did it with 145k cp using dorothy - makima - modernia - scarlet - rapunzel formation. had to bring makima to tanking those unkillable hordes' damage. i feel this boss is just need a good aim and timing.

The only time I've been able to survive long enough to time out this fight is when freaking Soda sat there and solo'd it for a minute and a half. I have no explanation for this.

but you can't lie Stronghold Land Eater, The Harvester , Ominous Cross etc are still really good boss music.

@@hamdurger he shouldn't arrange any rapture boss fight like harvester and land eater. He is supposed to arrange any boss bgm where the battle is personal like chatterbox and modernia or any side that have beef with the commander. Against mindless predator raptures like gravedigger or alteisen where the commander is fighting for his life should be zekk.

I respectfully disagree, land eater going from phase 1 to phase 2 is the highlight of the game for me Harvester is also incredible and designed for do or die at the last minute, the OST intensifies very well

You're gonna sit here and tell me Nihilisters BGM isn't top notch from Cosmo? This goes hard as well, but to think Cosmo can't compete just cus this song is good, is just doing him a disservice.

I admit that I like Gravedigger and Mother Whale Boss Battle Music, but I don't agree with you said that Cosmo can't made a banger Boss battle Music too. Modernia and Nihilister Boss Battle feels intense Battle, because of the Music too. And of course, Land Eater Battle Boss. Don't forget we have Nier like Music for Overzone Event (For me, the song kinda remind me of "A Beautiful Song" from Nier Automata). Both of the Composer are great for me.
