Glad to finally get a update on his life from the man himself. He looks very healthy. Seems like after his Mother passed he was looking bad. Then he got dropped from Strange Music. He is still one of my favorites from Kansas. I hope he gets back to the music fully.

I'm SO GLAD THAT I got to meet Godi in Oklahoma city at a small Tech concert. Rittz was there, Brotha Lynch ^S^ that concert was amazing dude. But anyway Godi was just walking through the crowd and I got a picture for someone else. I didn't even ask. I was just excited to meet him ❤ He's such a great man. Incredibly humble and funny af naturally. I wish that he would still drop something every now and then. Frankly I don't care if Ubi is apart of it or not. Godemis is a beast on his own 💪 💯 🔥
I got scammed out of a hunnit somethin a couple years ago right before xmas. I said to my friends it was still dope to be talking to him though. I got my first tattoo and it was ces cru when Deestro Mag dropped, because I was listening to them for over a decade at that time, then all that happened. I just got a rescue dog a month ago. I’m just seeing this now and I still hope him the best. He’s an elite emcee and misunderstood. I know what it’s like to be down in the grittiness of the world and don’t blame him at all. I hope we get a new album soon. He’s honestly always been so different from other rappers and still is. Great interview and great to hear from him again. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Hell yeah! I been a big fan of Godemis since I first saw Ces cru guntitled with Mac lethal. I've always gravitated to his style flows and imagery. It's good to hear or the multiple different ventures on the horizon of possibilities. I would definitely be interested in if not buying some artwork to at least see some of that if there is anyway to be able to peep that I'd love to kno. 👽🤘
Says something about me, but I randomly search Godemis on RU-vid for if he has any new shit out. It's how I found this video. Godemis has a very unique rapping ability. You sort of don't realize how good Godemis is till you hear him on a track with another incredibly dope rapper and you see Godemis matching whatever the other guy is bringing. Plus man says shit that frankly is so abstract it almost doesn't make sense but still is somehow dope to hear. "Circling round Saturn and acting mad again/ Most of ya'll never practised to grab a pad and pen". WTF. Or go hear the last verse on 'Gasoline'.
I had crazy respect for Godi, I met him in Pittsburgh in 2017 before a Tech concert. His guy had a handful of Catastrophic Event Specialists CD’s and they asked do you have this one yet, I said I do actually and love it. He said how about a signed one. I said not yet so he signed one for me, shook my hand and got a picture with him. After some time I seen a lot were Godi was scamming people and I didn’t believe it because I love his music. I miss Ces Cru and hope maybe one day they will reunite
My thoughts seeing this. Godemis is an insane talent. Dude can spit absolute gas and always has. Also want to put out there I’m a fan of Strange and Godi. The Strange music situation and the feature scandal was a low point for Godi definitely. What I see here is a man owning up to his mistakes, gettin his money up and gettin his mind right. Just happy to see him doin okay because I don’t think he meant to miss all those features. Y’all have to understand that Strange stopped doing marketing for this guy. It was UBI, Tech, King Iso and Maez301 if I remember correctly. So, he went through his low and it looks like he’s on a high now. Much love and much respect. If he comes to CO in the near future I’d go see him.
He took 4-500 from us over multiple months and transactions 3 years ago, ignores all our messages and we never received the verse we paid for. Hope he clears it up. If not, everyone needs to know.

i always thought godemis was absolutely one of the best at strange, hell one of the best in the industry. i wish things didnt unfold the way they did but im stoked to see what happens in the future because his talent is insane and it hope all works out for him for us to continue to listen to his music but more importantly for him to thrive in the way i know he can.

Everyone wanted to try to spread their wings and do it on their own. As far as I know most departures were well known about between the artists and Strange. And we’re on good terms. JL is the only one I don’t know the story behind.
I mean a lot of artists on the label came out and talked about some shady stuff. Rittz even said he didn’t really see a dime off of sales and everything, only from the touring he had done. To me it seems like a heavy trade off. They take most if not all residuals, you get touring money and a bigger name in the underground. But if you don’t build your own fan base while it’s going on then your kinda fucked. And strange doesn’t really push many outside of tech.
