I have a Stadium '59 with the humbucker in the neck position - it's a Keef thing. I really must check out this one with the single coil there. Intrigued by the tones John is getting and I"m already a huge fan of Godin.

Am I seeing some type of ferrules in the bridge where the strings go through? Maybe to protect the strings from any sharp edges in the holes?

Playing classic european / US rock (no country) (Led zep, Red hot, Police, acdc, beatles, marley, jazz), both have satin neck (Fender has a rounded neck as well plus the switch), what would be your reco? (Seems the vmode pick up fender keep better the birthness when turning down the tone) Thanks, dom

A simple guitar done right is worth the price in a world of expensive aftermarket bridges, tuners, pickups, all bolted to poorly treated wood with shoddy fretwork.
