I play electric at gigs but would like to be able to get acoustic sounds too. Also just ordered a GR55 guitar synth. So the Godin looks perfect. I tried and Emarald Virtuo recently with high expectations. Really good sounds but lead playing is harder. Would you say the Godin has more of an electric feel? I found the high notes and bending harder to play on the Emerald so I'm interested to know how the Xtsa plays?

Hey, Jimmy! Thanks for the feedback. I’m one of the few people who has a Variax classical. I used it for all of my solo smooth jazz tracks. If you can find one, it’s a wonderful instrument.

Hi, Guenter: I have several Variaxes, but they have no MIDI capabilities. You can add a Roland MIDI pickup to them (I have one like that) but you'll still need a guitar synth to it through. The Godin is the only guitar I'm aware of that will let you use all three types of guitars at once. Thanks for listening.

@@dryan08 Thx for your fast answer and please excuse my late reaction (yesterday was my birthday and today my son and grandson visited us, so not much time left to answer cause the 2 year old one can't be without Opa). After readingand watching vids bout the variax i came to the same opinion, it's not a midi controller, only that build in sounds and that's it. So i bought the Fishman Triple (like the Roland but wireless) and now i can play guitar and a whole orchestra/organ/drum..... at the same time. But three instrument isn't possible. At that time I'd never heard about this fabulous Godin :-( . Next time i think, i will send you a question before spending money in the wrong gear. Btw, since Christmas i own that wireless Bosssystem and i am very happy with it! And that Godin? Give me some time to get the money, it will be mine some day... Have fun and stay strong, quite hard in this times! Ciao

@@leodanryan966 oh ı am so glad thanks for your kind comment what do you think this guitars ı am so confused.Squier affinty hss strat is cheaper (70 €)than pacifica 112v.

Hard to go wrong with either one, but I tend to think that Yamaha`s build quality is somewhat better.
