It's honestly unreal to see my game in there! (4:42) This turned out amazing, especially love the music choice, what a nice track. Thanks to everyone making godot possible.
It's an honour to have our game Full-Scale Invasion alongside all your awesome projects! Big thanks to the Godot team for an amazing engine, and democratizing the game making process
out of all the games i saw in this video dig dig boom was the only time i immediately paused the video to wishlist. it looks really interesting, cant wait for the demo!
What an amazing year it was! Just in January 2023 I started learning Godot, and in 2024 I am already included in the showreel with Robot Detour! So glad to be the part of the party 🎉
Weird, conspicuously missing is Road to Vostok, which is a port from Unity and the most photo-real project for Godot I have seen. There's even a tech demo for it on Steam.
This is really starting to take off. Good for you. Stoked to see what this year will bring. The massive influx of new devs (for reasons...) will accelerate things drastically.
Let's go ! The game that really stands out imo this year: Octahedrone. A super original 3D game concept, never done before, with top tear graphical polish, Tim really is a legend for that one. Really looking forward to buying it upon release !
If you showed this to someone 10 years ago and said the engine that made all these was OPEN SOURCE they would lose their mind. Such an insanely high quality piece of tech to be free and open source. Absolutely LOVE what you all are doing

What a beautiful year of Godot games coupled with a phenomenally well edited video and great music. You love to this how much love the engine has being given.
as a simracing enthusiast didn't know that the last garage was done in godot, saw the demo at simexpo and damn that game proves that open source game engines have nothing to envy to the big players
wow!! This is the engine I use for gamedev and it's always nice to see other games I like have used it too. You can do so many different things with it!
Didn't know that Halls of Torment was made with Godot. It's my favorite "Survivors-like" game. The old diablo atmosphere in the game is exactly my cup of tea.
Insane to think that in 2018, Godot was the foundation for 2D platformers, Gameboy / SNES-era types of games, and in 2023 is now hitting AR / VR applications, FPS and strategy PC games, PS1-era and Flash / mobile types of games. And with the huge jump away from Unity, we could be seeing many more dev studios tout Godot as their platform of choice in 2024.
3:55 - Finally, a game about going on vacation then trying to find a way to simultaneously power 4 electronics items using a power strip with only 6 outlets!
After Unity's idiocy, the 2024 and 2025 showreels are going to showcase some exponentially more impressive projects for Godot. Looking forward to Godot's growth this year. This is only the beginning.
When Emi streamed the voting for this year, I saw some dope ass VR shit. Not really seeing that in this video, a bit of a shame cuz was impressed by some games in that stream! Not really showing what you can do in VR in godot. But still, cool :)
