Watching the episode "I Will Rise Up" broke my heart into a million pieces, even though I had already had Godric's death spoiled for me. I knew as soon as I finished the episode that I wasn't going to be able to wait until finishing the series before I started vidding Godric and Eric.
With this video I was really trying to work with their quotes and find parallels. Hope that came across ok!

I felt so bad for Eric when godric died because I could only imagine what it feels like losing your best friend you’ve spent hundreds of years with “Father, brother, son…let me go”

Pienso que la relacion entre Godrid y Eric fue mucho mas profunda y trascendente que lo que la serie pudo describir... Es uno de los momentos mas íntimos y reales que se plasmaron en ella. Sumamente conmovedor. Excelentes actores y muy buena trama...

I always wondered what Godric said towards the end, and I just connected it was the same words he said to Eric Northman on the night he turned him. Thanks for the video, now I know, lol. :)
