On Mount Olympus, in the peaceful sanctuary of the gods, created for descendants of Titans, among shining goddesses, nymphs, and other mythical creatures, Eris is a dark spot! She is an unpopular and rebellious teen goddess who unwillingly provokes discord, and has a horrible
reputation. Blasé and forced to study on Olympus, Eris stays away from the other gods.
But her cosmos suddenly turns upside down when a young mortal arrives on Mount Olympus: Paris of Troy!

While there are moments of awkward framing, long silences, and odd line deliveries, the actual look of the show is very polished. The limited budget and manpower may show, but the designs offer a decent smokescreen. Especially Hera. When it comes to designs, she clearly came out on top. They look marketing team approved, so very well done. Plus, all of this done by one artist? My wrist is cramping just thinking about it. That alone deserves some recognition. At the end of the day, who cares about a few awkward silences when one person animated a web series that looks this good? Plus, it's interesting to see how the source materials will be adapted for the story being told. That's what makes greek mythology reworkings so fascinating.

@@reginasandoval628 Her stone effect? No, it works on everyone, not just men. The whole "it only works on men" is a modern gorl-power thing. In the original mythos, she was described as "A monster so hideous that anyone who laid eyes on her would turn to stone" This series is DEFINITELY not mythically accurate, it's a Greek Myth version of Monster High.

ikr. in the actual mythology he was like the one of the only gods with relatively functioning relationship and who didn’t cheat on his wife. he just mostly chills in the underworld with his wife and three headed dog thing, and usually tries to help people who ask for his help. the dude is literally like one of the nicest gods. i have no idea why people try to make him seem like the bad guy.

Only complaint I have is there’s a lot of awkward pauses and some of their facial expressions are hard to read. I think maybe a better sound design for future episodes would help along with taking some more time to emphasize the specific expressions you want to get across! Overall the story seems neat and for it to all be done by such a small team is very impressive!

Today is the five-year anniversary of the first episode of GodsSchool! And the 8th episode has just been published, "Hera and Zeus". It is amazing how this series has grown and evolved over time! It's so interesting to see this played out in a highschool setting as like all of them are related and it's all very strange their relationships with each other because Kronos happens to be a lot of their dad and ate them all and Zeus is also a lot of their dad and it's just really different from what I'd think. It's really cool how Eris is the main character because as the goddess of discord she's usually an antagonist but this portrays her in a different way

cecily boyd yeah and then Zeus teamed up with a nymph (I think?) and made his father spit out the other kids then later married said nymph and proceeded to absorb his pregnant wife. Athena still lived so his plan kinda backfired.

I love the animation, colors, and most of the voice acting The story pacing was off, like it seemed like some stuff was missing. There seemed to be long pauses too between interactions but overall it's good for a short group. I think this has so much potential. KEEP UP THE WORK!

It is a good reference.... In Greek mythology it was said that he "ate" (swallowed) all of his 6 children (5 actually since one was only a rock that Gaia replaced to save Zeus), after Zeus grew up he fought his father:Chronos and became the Ruler of the God's and Titans

Επίσης δεν με νοιάζει που η σειρά δεν ακολουθεί πιστά τους μύθους που ξέρουμε, εδώ ήρθα να παρακολουθήσω κάτι που δεν έχω ξανά δει και είναι πολύ ευχάριστο. Καλά πώς κάνει έτσι η Ήρα; Αφού φύτρωσε η τούφα που κόπηκε. Μπράβο, συνέχισε την καλή δουλειά. Translation:Great job! I wish we had more TV series animation about Greek mythology.
