Powerstance the godskin peelers and put swords dance on the offhand, gives you a little bit of range with the ash of war that people aren’t expecting and you can swap between them fairly quick
good idea! I like the versatility of having two ashes of war readily available and the power stance jump attack is nice. However, I strongly prefer the two-handed moveset of twinblades and would rather use the equip load needed for an additional weapon on better armor or talisman slots (fewer equip load boosting talismans needed) instead. You could always just have multiple peelers in your inventory and hard swap mid-fight to make it less obvious that you're changing the ash of war.
Hey bro, I’ve been using the godskin peeler on my dex/arc build for a month and a half now and it is absolutely disgusting. I had so much success that I stopped using it in arena because I felt a lil scummy since spinning slash carries the combos so well and I think it’s overturned ATM. A guaranteed 3 hit combo on a weapon that bleed in 3 is very strong. In invasions, I was loving using this to erase phantoms. think it’s a very underrated weapon and a very good swap in certain battles. I also don’t see many people using it besides in PvE, which I must say, is also extremely good. I’d say the worst matchups we’re weapons that have hyper armor since they can tank most of your attacks, or thrusting swords and halberds which can outrange you very easily. My favorites match ups are dual spear/great spear users and dual/2h katana and dual sword users as they like to get close to vortex you and it turns spinning slash into a free 1k dmg get off me button. It’s such a fun weapon to keep the aggression on your opponent and you can delete people very quickly with running R2 into spinning slash. Another insane combo was using poison mist and the poison talisman, so you end up boosting your dmg 20% further and now have poison and bleed. It makes the pressure you apply even greater as they have to pop 2 different boluses. My last 2 honorable mentions are barbaric roar as it gives you a 3 hit combo with hyper armor, only issue is if you whiff, you’re left open for counter, whereas spinning slash you can cancel if you whiff. Last one is sword dance, as you can chain running attacks and the AoW to constantly barrage your opponent with aggression, which is the play style you need with this weapon. Recently I’ve been enjoying the 2h Naginata, it has a very fast r1 chain and spinning slash on this one gets the slower version with hyperarmor, which works extremely well for the weapon. The moveset reminds me of a faster version of Knightrider’s glaive, which I love. It also gets a poke R2 which are always amazing to have. Standing r1 can be baited into r1 if they try to whiff punish you, followed by more r1s or spinning slash. Jumping r1 - r1 is really good as it comes out so fast, and can be followed by a running R2 roll catch chain. The crouch attacks are also very fast and the following r1 always comes out extremely fast. I liked engaging with jumping attacks and baiting with standing r1s, and countering w running R2. I’d recommend giving it a go. I wouldn’t say it’s as powerful as the Godskin Peeler, but I fun weapon nonetheless.
Yeah I basically used the peeler for a single night of duels and can confirm it's pretty nuts. The better players know to play around that running R2, but getting hit by it can often times be an outright kill when combo'd with spinning slash afterwards
@@VonSchnitz I liked to bait with running R1 as it has a very fast recovery time, and jump attack fakes to close distance, making them run into a spinning slash or open to a counter running r2 combo. Honestly, I’ve really enjoyed the twinblade class as a whole, a fast weapon with a lot of burst damage potential and it can proc the successive attack talismans so easily. Surprisingly, I haven’t encountered many twinblade users but that’s fine by me, I rather be the one using it💯
I mean you're absolutely right, it synergizes very well with Twinblade, the consecutive hit talismans, and bleed. No other AoW really compares to it in that regard. It also is pretty overtuned due to the true combo if any part of it connects.
@@VonSchnitzyea I agree, it’s very strong but it is the perfect AoW for the weapon, hell it even comes with it when it’s uninfused. I’ve had a lot of thought about it, and there’s plenty of broken shit in the game so as soon as I see anything close to strength of spinning slash, I’d say it’s perfectly fine to use in those cases. I’m not tryna make the game worse but it does a pretty good job at making sure EVERYTHING is op. Also there’s a lot of counters to this version since it has no hyperarmor, you can’t just spam it unless the opponent is a noob.
@@illusion6477 yeah so many OP hyper armor or Burst damage options in the game. Spinning slash is also parryable, so there is counterplay. I don't find it to be that much more OP than other options. For example, endure is OP on everything, knight's Greatsword has a harder hitting combo than spinning slash, PSGS can vortex to do more damage and pseudo combo, PSSS does more damage in 2 L1's and is safer, Urumi has a 100-0 combo on the right build, the list goes on

haven't tried it myself but seems like it would be good 💯 twinblades are awesome! Cold affinity and bleed affinity both still get B scaling in Strength so you can benefit from status buildup and get decent damage. Only thing to worry about is Gargoyles Twinblade is the shortest range Twinblade in the game so you'll have to space a little better.
Dual heavy thrusting swords or do you mean dual great spears? Dual great spears are quite strong, but dual heavy thrusting swords sounds like a challenge! I will give it a shot
I play PVE mostly, I really want to play the godskin peeler and I do play a character level 241, if you were able to put more point into this build where would you put them ?
Yes I think blood godskin peeler is strong, a lighting version would compliment nicely w the shard of Alexander as the AR would be much higher on lighting. You don’t get the insane burst dmg from the blood but every hit will hit hard af. I think the peeler is too good of a tool for status not to be using it that way, so you could use one w frostbite and the other with lighting for insane dmg potential. Or if you can get frost pots, they are essential for lighting builds to max out dmg.
What level are you currently? I recommend 60 vig and 60 dex at lv 125. If you go higher, get to 80 dex + more endurance for better armor + more arcane for more bleed
