It's hard to believe that AVGN has became a thing of nostalgia himself.

I actually had the gameboy game and quite enjoyed it, its a challenging puzzle-like game. The fun fact is though, that as a small kid I actually wanted "Bubble Bobble" and I asked for "the game with this dragon", so i got this.

I never realized how lucky I was to grow up with the good three games....

I was a big Godzilla fan myself as a kid. My mom got me Godzilla 2 for the NES for Christmas one year-she figured "Hey, its Godzilla, he'll love it!" And the cover art sure looked promising. Then I played it. Oh boy...then I played it.

One of my favorite AVGN episodes.

The PS2 era, Godzilla games were ahead of their time IMO. Up to 4 players, melee, grappling, smash buildings and even rag-doll mechanics. Even if you don't like Godzilla (because that's why you're here right?), these are damn fun games. But as you would expect, f**king video games critics tell you to not like these games.

Monster of Monsters could definitely do with a remake. It would not incorporate all the characters and levels shown from the CreepyPasta like Red or the labyrinths, but I’d be happy if it includes all the Godzilla baddies before and after the NES game subject to a solid CreepyPasta. That is, if it sees international release.

Those games on PS3, GC and Xbox were fucking awesome but I played them way after my obsession with Godzilla. But nowadays I don't even think the top game developers and publishers wouldn't even consider making a good Godzilla game. The golden era in gaming was the sixth generation of consoles. All the best stuff happened between '99 and '05

Years passed and no signs of progress were ever mentioned. The only thing ever mentioned afterward was that its development was switched over to Wii. It could have turned out to be Return to Dream Land, but that's a long-ass time span for a Kirby game.

I saw the 2014 Godzilla movie last week. I'm not a huge Godzilla fan, I just went as a favour to my girlfriend, the much bigger fan. I saw the movie... And my God, did the movie drag for me. The plot was predictable as all hell. Godzilla takes up to an hour to appear. That's too long for a Godzilla movie. The human race are the most stupidest bunch of dipshits in that movie. The only human character I gave half a shit about dies in the first half hour. The CGI is amazing... but that's about it for me. It didn't hold me. It's average as far as I'm concerned. By the time we were halfway through the movie, I was making up goofy and stupid jokes just to get us through it. I don't care if people complained about my noise. The movie was boring. Even my girlfriend said she was kind of disappointed by the movie. I really didn't like it. Hey, I gave it a chance. Robocop won me over, and I'm not a big Robocop fan, maybe Godzilla would have too. Unfortunately no in this case.
