This book was so much fun. Glad to see your review of this book. I loved it so much that I wish they would make a bigger format like an absolute or gallery edition of it. My favorite Godzilla movie would be Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla as I believe that was my first introduction to Godzilla.

Yeah this was pretty good! It scratched an itch that I needed but now I want MORE! Great choice of movie also! I was always a fan of the Mechagodzilla films since those seemed more heavy on action!

Very nice review, just watched Godzilla Minus One and inspired me to look for Godzilla comics. The movie easily is in the Movie of the Year discussion for me even though I was not a huge Godzilla fan before the movie.

I am SOOO excited to watch Godzilla Minus One! And now you got me that much more excited! You wanna check out comics? Well you came to the right place! Godzilla has been getting a lot of love lately in the comic and film world. Half century war which is collected in this deluxe edition is probably the Big Gs most well known story but he has a “greatest of” trade paperback coming out this month and a Marvel Omnibus coming next year not to mention what’s already out which is a decent amount! This "Deluxe" edition was really disappointing to me. With the Half Century War Hardcover being oversized and $10 cheaper, it's really hard to justify this version just by virtue of the Godzilla in Hell issue. As great as this story is, though, for me James Stokoe doesn't get better than his recent series Orphan and the Five Beasts. My original page from issue 2 is one of my favorite in my collection. And since you asked, Godzilla vs Mothra is my favorite Godzilla film. Those priestess chanting "Mothra! Mothra!" Gets me every time

Yeah seems the common reaction to this book is people love it but are kinda disappointed with the build and what was collected, I fall into the category also. But man are His set pieces and monster detail is INCREDIBLE During this entire story. Godzilla vs Mothra is a classic! I never loved Mothra sense all it did was fly around and attack despite that monster being a fan favorite but still appreciate the character!

I really enjoyed this story, my first introduction to Godzilla in comic format. Loved the action scenes, got a real sense of destruction and the scale of the battles. The small deluxe size was a disappointment, but glad to have it in a hardcover at last. 2014 Godzilla movie is one of my favourites, remember seeing it at the cinema and the sound was amazing on it.

This is a underatted godzilla comic for me cuz its sadly not popular as godzilla in hell cuz godzilla in hell is only popular cuz of how strong godzilla in hell is
