This episode contains half a minute of plot progression and 13 minutes of monsters yelling about their midlife crisis and interpersonal drama. As with the previous parts of this series, I had to cut it into multiple parts because it was getting too long. As a result, there isn't much content or interesting scenes in this part.
Part 5, which was supposed to be the second half of this video, will probably be done sooner rather than later, since some of it has already been animated and edited. It will be the final part of this series, then the story will continue under a different title: Godzilla vs. Bagan, which is what I wanted to make to begin with, back in 2021. So all these RU-vid Award videos are just a very long-winded setup for that. Over the past 3 years, I have thought a lot about the themes, character development and meaningful resolutions that I'd like to explore in upcoming videos, now I just have to animate all of them. And there will be some action scenes too.
Please excuse the varying animation and picture quality seen throughout this video. Many parts were rushed and I also changed my rendering settings around halfway into the animation, so lights, shadows and color grading will alternate inconsistently between certain shots.
