To be fair, Godzilla 2014 had essentially been starving during his fight with the Muto. That nuke going off at the end of the movie was probably a massive meal for the Big G Man. Certainly, came in handy for Godzilla King of the Monsters. Show that cranky golden show piece who is boss.
