@@TheKaijuKingdomPodcast Maybe it's a combination of their work ethic, and also how they want to do right by the Godzilla franchise if they grew up a fan of Godzilla.
This is exactly why I’m praying Yamazaki is chosen for the sequel or sequels of Minus One cause he has proven that he can do both Kaiju battle sequences and the dark toned Godzilla we all love. If he combined the serious dark tone with Kaiju action like this he would have great success. Even if it’s just two or three sequels if he does it good then it would be the best series of Godzilla films in history.
You know if you really look at things, Yamazaki established MinusGoji all the way back in 2007 when Godzilla made that Cameo in Always Sunset on Third street. The Ride was basically a sprt of final test with MinusGoji's overall design being very close to full completion and now the teaser gives is his full on finalized movie look with the visible scars that show you the impact the atomic bombs had on him, so all this time Yamazaki had already made his Godzilla in place, all he needed to do was wait to for more technological advancements to update his Godzilla more and more to his finalized look and get approval from Toho to make the full length Godzilla movie we will see this December. I hope fans everywhere else can get to see the movie, as for my fellow american kaiju fans, mark your calendars because we got a special day this year, Godzilla Minus One's nationwide theatrical debut and it will also be Troll's 1 year anniversary on Netflix!!! Two Kaiju movies with the same release date!!
Now that was awesome. Makes me wish legendary and toho could make a deal with universal and do a special 4D style Monsterverse Godzilla and Kong ride much like this one over here in the states.
Yo... I miss the Showa Era where Rodan was a formidable force to Godzilla and Ghidorah. Now he just gets tossed around worse than Anguirus. I truly hate that.
Yeah,him and Mothra. I don't hate all modern Godzilla movies,but in kotm both so called"Queen of the monsters"and"Fire demon"got turned into Godzilla and Ghidorah sidekicks,even out of two Rodan got the short end of a stick. Which is shame cause his introduction was rad.
I would rate that almost as goo as when Shin Godzilla uses how breath weapon to obliterate whole sections of Tokyo. I like the Shin Godzilla scene better but yeah it was pretty awesome when Godzilla blew a hole through King Ghidorah.
Anyone here after seeing Godzilla Minus One? I wouldnt mind if going forward Toho kickstarted a new continuous movie series and used those designs for Ghidorah and Rodan.
New Godzilla movie announced, Takashi Yamazaki directing. In theaters on November 3rd next year in Japan. This is Toho's new Godzilla film. The 30th Godzilla franchise film has already finished filming - and is currently in editing. The film is reportedly set in post-war Japan.
Really interesting how Ride-Goji looks almost exactly like Minus-Goji. It's almost like Toho had their minds set on this design to be the next film Goji.
@@user-vc8pu5vk6z Toho owns Godzilla, so nothing happens in any regard with the character unless they say so; they've been much more stern about this since '98, for pretty obvious reasons.
@@BaldPerspectiveperhaps I worded it wrong,what I'm saying is it's not only Toho but Yamazaki's and maybe some other staff's effort as well,I'm simply talking about how that madlad kept pushing this design since like 2007 when Godzilla made cameo in some other movie. Also hope he is pretty expressive in this movie. Like sure those restrictions made by Toho about Godzilla being simply emotionelss badass were neccessary back in 2000s but nowadays not so much. So far scenes from trailer didn't dissapoint,like him roaring in pain after being blasted. About those rules. I even heard that little laugh in GvK was a pain in the ass to get approved by them.
I really like this version of Ghidorah, it's a lot more terrifying and impactful than the other ones but still feels anatomically correct and true to its original form. And this version of Goji is so badass. I hope there's a sequel. This is the sort of kaiji movie we need.
Now THAT is a quality kill. Plasma breath RIGHT THROUGH THE CHEST! Wish we'd see that in a movie. The Monsterverse nerfed him so much that direct shots didn't affect Ghidorah at all (until the end and that one just knocked him down). I get the golden scales and all, but it would be so much better if his breath weapon did some damage so other monsters (like Kong did) try to avoid it completely.
Godzilla’s atomic breath has varied in power over the years. In the Showa era it was a damaging attack, but it only killed only about 2 or 3 enemies. The heisei era gave him the spiral ray as a finishing attack, but he tended to spam the atomic breath in those movies. Depending on the film you saw in the millennium era, the breath could be a damaging attack or a one-hit killer. I like to think Godzilla can vary the intensity of the breath as he pleases.
Dude ghidorah is nerfed right here so how was he nerfed more in the MV in comparison 😅. If ghidorah died to 1 shot of godzilla's atomic breath which he SHOULD and HAVE been able to tank with little to no difficulty in past incarnations then explain this ghidorah suddenly dying to 1 shot when it should of taken more than that to kill him. If anything direct shots SHOULDN'T effect ghidorah that much, they hurt him but ain't enough to kill him with 1 or 2 hits
@@Kaiju-bm4ts Uh, have you not seen Giant Monsters All-Out Attack? Godzilla took out Ghidorah with exactly 1 hit from the breath twice. The first time put him down for the count until his ass was saved by Mothra and after he was revived by Mothra and Baragon's magic pixie dust or whatever, Godzilla's breath killed him with one shot.
@@HarbingerOfBattle Yes, THAT is a ACTUAL example of a nerfed ghidorah which is what I was implying in my comment. MV is nerfed or never gotten a chance to show how powerful he is earlier in the film meanwhile gmk ghidorah was nerfed from the start
I hope they use this Godzilla design for the new Godzilla movie in 2023 and seeing that the director for it is the same person who did the shots for the ride there might be a chance
Man, Japan gets all the best stuff. Their Universal has (or at least had at some point) Godzilla, Attack on Titan, One Piece, Evangelion, and Dragon Ball. On the States side, if you think Harry Potter is “just ok”, there’s not much new for you. I would be happy to settle for a Legendary Godzilla vs Kong ride with those weird futuristic hover craft ships from the movie.
I did this ride in May 2024, along with Ultraman the Ride. Both use the exact same ride vehicle as the Soarin’ attraction at Disney California Adventure and Epcot. Disney should try to bring both rides to the U.S.

Holy f***ing s**t!!!I got goosebumps with this,as a big godzilla fan this was like the ultimate dream it feels like being in a movie(it's movie quality & it's even better than tons of movies)those designs look cool af(just like the legendary designs)toho make a movie with those cgi,that ride is seriously the best ride ever nothing can top it(I wish my country had that ride)these are facts.
I’m a little confused by the movements on the screen. Like after when Godzilla showed, it shows the person parachuting downward, but then it parachutes upward? What exactly is the person in the video supposed to driving/flying?
I experienced the Evangelion VR experience at a shopping mall called World Porters in Yokohama, but even after it was over, I still felt sick for more than 10 minutes. If Godzilla The Ride was VR, I think a lot of people would vomit.
