Batman v Superman was great in my opinion. It was about an older version of batman thinking he is not changing his city for the better and fears that this god like creature could turn evil. while Superman does not find a way to fit in this world and every move he does is questioned. It was the world through both of their perspectives. Which is why it's called batman v superman not batman vs superman. Very misunderstood movie.

Mechagodzilla is probably powered by condensed nuclear power or with something more powerfull, which godzilla could detect.
