GOFARM Hawaii Cohort 13
GoFarm Hawaiʻi is a Statewide Beginning Farmer Training Program with sites on Oʻahu, Kauaʻi, Maui, and Hawaiʻi Island. Our mission is to enhance Hawaiʻi's food security and economy by increasing the number of sustainable, local agricultural producers by providing hands-on commercial farm and business training.
GoFarm Hawaii is dedicated to enhancing Hawai‘i’s food security and economy by increasing the number of local agricultural producers. Through their program, interested community members have the opportunity to gain knowledge, experience, and support that is designed to assist them in becoming viable production growers, and accomplish this in a manner that encourages sustainability.
The Distance Education Program has worked closely with GoFarm Hawaii to develop a companion website for AgSchool and AgPro, their introduction and advanced farming courses. The online course modules feature instructional videos from guest lecturers, field demonstrations, interactive activities, as well as a forum for students to interact.
