So much fun for Gohan. Both appear to be very well mannered.

Once you learn to recognize a dog's body language it's very interesting to see how a dog reacts to a new dog in the house. Gohan is friendly, but he's also cautious and is definitely the dominant one in his situation. Any time Max's teeth come close to his throat, even during play, he freezes up a bit, doesn't really let him come close and keeps his tail raised, a sign of dominance and caution. Max, on the other hand, frequently shows his stomach to Gohan and turns on his back, which is a sign of submissiveness. Both dogs actively lick their lips and yawn, which is a sign that they're ever so slightly uncomfortable with this new, unfamiliar situation, but nowhere near for there to be any actual issue. Quite normal for first encounters. By no means does this mean that Gohan is an aggressive dog, he's obviously very chill and playful once he drops his guard, but you can definitely see the caution and the whole "okay, you're here now, you seem like a chill dude but I'm still watching you" vibe. Body language is everything when it comes to dogs (and animals in general), and when you learn to recognize it you're prepared for anything they might do and you can legitimately communicate with them. Super cool.

Max and Gohan remind me of when I had 2 huskies. They were pretty chill dogs but always flipped out when riding in the car. They lived a great life. One lived to be 17, the other 15.

Wow! Max is beautiful! These two are two of the most handsome huskies I've ever seen! Along with Mr Keyush 😁

I have had eight Siberians over past 25 years... sometimes as many as five at a time. Am convinced they recognize their own kind when meeting new dogs... react totally differently than when meeting other breeds.

Those two are great together. My favorite part was watching them run at the park. We'd enjoy more videos with Max and other friends of Gohan.
