Gohan was awesome he was the strongest on two occasions right? When fighting Cell SSJ 2 And this when he got his ultimate form (strongest unfused person) I guess they didnt want HIM to end the buu saga so they milked it to Goku and Vegeta :D
I've got a doubt... When he fought Darbura,Gohan was slightly weaker than he was in the Cell Games...but I guess after being nearly killed by Buu and recovering he'd be stronger thanks to the zenkai power...also,he needed to turn Super Saiyan (or maybe SS 2,I'm not sure),to release the Z Sword,which he could barely handle in normal form. But after some training,he could move it and swing in base form it as if it was nothing...so in SS2 form,couldn't he be stronger than Majin Vegeta?
@Pilaf1984 I kinda disagree there. Gotta remember that Goku always makes those statements but he is always far beyond anyone else and ends up surprising everyone else. He is always impressed on how others improve though, but he doesn't usually brag about his own power outside a fight. I think Gohan could indeed be able to surpass his father but Goku's purpose in life was to fight and get stronger and Gohan just gave up fighting while Goku always went even further.
@HybridD91 Thats very true. Full potential/latent power, all the same, Super saiyan only draws out latent power inside someones heart. "Mystic" (if you want to call it that) also draws out that power. It's just another FORM, like KAIOKEN.. it doesnt HAVE to stem from Super Saiyan.. not all races can go super saiyan btw, but probably everyone (even namek) can go MYSTIC if they had the training.. thats probably the best way to describe it ever. I'm proud of myself there.
@commandmagician in gt gohan is not mystic anymore. when old kai releases gohans potential his ssj ki is replaced and everytime he tries to go ssj he goes into a mystic form which releases all his powers a the same time. stronger than ssj2 or ssj1 and even ssj3. if gohan goes ssj it drains power thats why old kai replaced his ki. in mystic form hes like a super saiyan 3.5 without energgy drain

They got some of the writers and new crappy artists which is why everything in GT is all shaded and dark.Akira did create ssj4 but he never intended on actually putting it in the series.
Is easy to know if you use logic... Goku ssj2 gived some good shots before transforming in ssj3 and in ssj3 goku recieved a beating from super buu ( gotenks absorved)

@commandmagician I agree with ZaneEX but I also think they put in the 'replaced super saiyan' fact is because if he was able to transform then he wouldve become unstoppable and overpowered not saying its a bad thing but the saga wouldve ended right there and there would be no vegito. But i think it was mainly due to the fact that they didnt want gohan to defeat majin buu because the fans wanted goku to still be the main character. But i still wanted to see gohan go ssj and destroy majin buu.

the truth is mystic gohan is the strongest im' tell you why it was orginally thought out that gohan would be the strongest in dbz as in the movies they say(this kid has great power) in win he fought cell he was actually supposed to go ssj3 but everyone wanted goku to be the strongest .if you watched when raditz was about to kill him he said this kid possive a power greater than yours so yes gohan the shit that why when buu absorb him he became so strong they had to fuse to stop him lol
@dbzlady Its because hes not pulling the sword out of the rock hes lifting it up. and from the looks of it its pretty damn heavy. so if he blew the mountain up he would still have to lift the damn thing, which is why it was so properly dramatic ;)
interesting you do have a point in saying kid buu´s power was increasing it now makes sense didn´t realise that. his power dropped so much from his previous form that goku was able to fight him while in ssj2. then his powers rised and goku had to go alll out.
They never said Kid Buu was the strongest. Majin Buu is one entity. All his levels are basically the same strength. They are just different personalities. Fat Buu’s innocence was what weakened him. What Goku did say was "Your twice as strong as you were before" He was referring to Kid Buu, who had just powered up. And who was just messing around. This forced Goku to go SSJ3 and stop playing around in SSJ2.

Akira Toriyama had nothing to do with GT so they probably just fucked up Gohans character like they did with everyone else,or he just lost his Mystic powers.Mystic replaced his super saiyan powers.When old Kai said "just do that super saiyan thing".Gohan powered up as if transforming into a super saiyan.
@commandmagician Lmao Kid Buu isn't as strong as Super Buu (Gotenks Absorbed) especially when it comes to close combat fighting. The only thing Kid Buu is good at it blowing up planets. You can tell how weakened Kid Buu is because Vegeta(SSJ2) Actually landed some hits on him. When Vegeta tried fighting Super Buu (Gohan absorbed) Vegeta and Goku couldn't even lay a finger on him and if they did it'd be chopped off. LOL
@Pilaf1984 hes stronger than Goku sure, but hes not nearly as great a fighter as goku, hes not a very seasoned fighter, nor does he have that great a techniques. i think in a real fight though hes more powerful than goku i think goku could beat him, just because of the fact hes a better fighter.
@commandmagician he didnt transform into super saiyan in mystic form, because he didnt need to, transforming into super saiyan means powering up, in mystic form he is already as strong as he potentially will be, so he cant power up anymore, so he doesnt need to transform into super saiyan anymore i think gt lost that idea, its not based on the manga, its not from akira toriyama, its crap and lame
@commandmagician this is what you have to study at university for? xD i knew that all by myself... as king kai said "hes the strongest in the univers" didnt he felt coolers powerlevel or what???? things like that... or did u know that u have to have 300 kibiti (powerlevel of babedi) to destroy a planet... goku had 3000 in supersayin 2... but vegeta destroyed planets all by himself with a powerlevel of 15.000 (perhaps 1 or 2 kibiti) thats what makes dbz a little unreal but hey its funny at all!
@jesusisbac, Kid buu whas just playing, you saw how easy he almost killed vegeta. kid buu likes to play and have fun he doesent kill instantly wich is an error by him aswell xP
@commandmagician Movies are not cannon so this statement is irrealevant n this was after the kid buu saga so goku could of been training and became stronger then gohan but at the time of the kid buu fight gohan was strongest
@commandmagician Kid Buu isn't the 'strongest' form. Just the most dangerous. There's a difference. Kid buu has no restraint or care for life thus making him more dangerous because he is uncontrollable. Kid Buu is Buu's most dangerous and relentless form but in terms of strength and power level, Kid Buu isn't the strongest Buu form.
@NarutotheSage09 there actually is such thing as a dub error. they can make translation mistakes which happened lots of times. example is when vegeta said over 9000 but in japanese he said over 8000. and in japanese goku said gohan can defeat you know to buu but in dub he said you dont think you can fight me in this form do you?
@commandmagician Its nice we can have a debate without any curse words or insults unlike that narutosage kid lol, but anyway when vegeta tried to fight gohan buu he couldnt land a single blow n him n goku got dominated but when they fought kid buu they both put up more of a fight vegeta even got some hits in on kid buu but couldnt touch gohan buu at all thats why goku knew they needed to fuse to beat him
@commandmagician Your wrong Goku stated that he could beat kid buu at full power SS3 but he wanted to give vegeta a try and by then goku was weakend and couldn't fight full power...but he knew for a fact that he couldnt super buu full power thats why he almost fused with hercule cuz he was so desperate
@commandmagician Nah Gohan is stronger than SSJ3 Goku because he was able to take on super buu with ease but SSJ3 Goku had problems with Kid Buu theres no doubt that Super Buu is stronger because he has Majin Buu (good) combined with him. Kid Buu only seems stronger because hes insane and wont hold back unlike super buu who just hits then waits then talks and so on. But if super buu was insane he would destroy kid buu completely. But Gohan would still be able to take him on no problem.
@commandmagician Um vegeta blew kid to bits when buying time for goku to get power back, would call that more then lay a hand on. :P Its just buu is totally gay as a villan his regenerative powers is just too much

@commandmagician sorry man not gonna get ridof me that easy especially if ur wrong :) noticed he said his attacks aint having nothing on buu anymore after goku was already weakend from prolonging the fight to long, and i've noticed u been dodging my question of why goku wanted to fuse (at the time knowing he would be fused forever) to fight gotenks and gohan buu but was so confident of beating kid buu without fusing...please just answer this question cuz u have been avoiding it
@commandmagician lmao i seen that ep actually and thats not proof they don't say that in the manga which is proof funimation changed the script so much in that saga that they confused alot of fans such as yourself read the manga...or wait until dbz kai reaches this saga and u will see vegeta never says this
@commandmagician Yea Goku's attacks where inert after he fought him the first time n let vegeta fight him thats why he told vegeta he could of beat kid buu in the beggining but wasted too much time n loss energy cuz he wanted to give vegeta a chance, put it this way if gohan would of fought kid buu he would of destroyed him no problem just like he was originally supposed to do but the spoiled japenese fans wanted goku to be the hero so thats the only reason why goku killed kid buu
