Gohan is a conflicted character. Doing the right thing means he has to break his own rules. He hates killing but is willing to do it if it helps get rid of those who like to see life burn.

What I always thought was interesting was that gohan is WAY more willing to kill than goku is. Gohan has grown up and lived in constant combat. Even goku had his years with his grandfather and his training with roshi but all of gohans life until after the fight with cell has always been either a life threatening fight or preparing for a life threatening fight. If goku is a martial artist then gohan is closer to a soldier, he has to fight these people, to the death if needs be, because they are a threat to him and those he loves. He is the definition of "when a good man goes to war" he doesn't posture. He's not there to get stronger or to train or to have fun. He's there to handle the threat. To make them pay for their crimes and to wipe them out. Who do you think future trunks learnt it from

This captures perfectly what Gohan is, to his friends and especially to the Dbz community. A beacon of hope. The son of son Goku. The warrior that saved them from Cell. This perfectly captures also, Gohans struggles as a saiyan and as the strongest saiyan's son and that kind of legacy he tries to live up too. This video means a lot to me and my friends. I'm glad it got reuploaded.. One of the best Gohan videos on RU-vid period bro

No son of the strongest saiyan son of the once was strongest gohan while not strength or power wise he is stronger goku may have died many times to save other but gohan fought till he couldn't even if it meant only delaying or distracting the foe he sacrificed himself despite knowing the androids would kill him but he never stopped being brave even as a child gohsn was braver then any other even goku gohan doesn't stop fighting til its truly over he's the kind of soul who won't stop till he can't breathe he'll protect the innocent even if his own life were to be lost he could've trained trunks or trained himself but by the Time he was string enough the androids or cell could've killed everyone so he stepped up and unleashed everything he had holding nothing back till the sad end but I love future gohans phrase and it perfectly reflects how he was a rope model to trunks "I will never die even if my body breaks another will rise to take my place" and trunks rose to become the hero they all needed just like piccolo was a model for gohan gohan was a model for trunks

Vegeta has always had great expectations of Gohan, and for him seeing Gohan waste away is insulting. I think if Vegeta trained Gohan it would make him a less conflicted character. I hope DBS has an arc of these two training. I would love to see the result. Both characters would drastically change if they interacted more.

I love how Vegeta righteously nullified Gohan's progress with wisdom at the end of this. I seriously feel like in that moment, there was so much undertoned but fully understood meaning. I feel like vegeta was probably thinking, ((Your father and I had such high hopes for you to be a better Saiyan than either of us, but even though I am now the king of all Saiyan's I am compelled to acknowledge that you have the gift of our forefathers that grants time scale legendary power, yet you've stood idle playing as a college boy with no training. If you love your family, you must always be ready to defend them with the entirety of your very being. You are not ready. Get your ass back in to shape.😔💔))

Gohan beast and how they have rebuilt him from nothing; has open a door for him to take on the lead after Z. I would like to see another arc with Goku and Vegita fighting more people and causing trouble. In addition, have Gohan becoming more afraid of losing his loved ones through a mini story because of Cell Max. Then, from fearing the loss of his family and the universe, Gohan and Piccolo, go across the universe to destroy all forms of evil. While learning new tricks and instant transmission. Then, down the line Goku has Xeno create a new TOP with all the universes involved. However, Gohan realizes he has no choice but to kill Xeno and take the throne with Grand priest at his side in order to do the most good to protect his loved ones. Becoming Yamoshi.

I believe in super, that he was on par with ssj god blue. And he is looking for a new transformation other than that induced with other saiyans like goku and vegeta have done. I believe we will see it in the new movie that will release this year. Hopefully the writers will do our boy some good. As he deserves after all these years.

Gohan seen death all of his life. Not just regular pedestrians but the closest people that raised and trained him. He saw his Dad die twice he saw Dendé die he saw Piccolo die twice, Krillin, 16 Tien Yamcha Chao Tsu Future Trunks and even Vegeta. From a boy to a teen, he’s been traumatized and to really mess with his head the ones who died kept getting wished back and the could possibly die again and again. I hope DB Super focus more on Gohan and Piccolo sense the series focused on Goku (surprise 😒) Vegeta. I hope Beast is on par with Legendary Super Saiyan or stronger based on the way he handled Cell Max.
