It's nice they allowed for our own branded domains but they need to allow for shorter URL slugs. I get that your first "communities" is your subdomain but requiring /communities/groups/group-name after the domain is way too long.
hey man, there was a big update on communities feature recently. Not sure exactly about this one but check the HL youtube channel, they may have released it :)
what? it's crazy. I've been asking for basic features in community in go high level for ever and finally left it 2 weeks ago to make it on telegram. so you're saying it's solid now?
Highlvl is still clunky, terrible clunky... which means hard to work with. just editing a survey seems impossible. Also the webpages they have are useLESS.
Hey Keaton , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos which visually appeal to audience and would increase average view duration and will also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will overall help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?
This is a great explanation, thanks so much! I want to start a community that includes a monthly membership, but I can't find a way to limit content to only paid subscribers. For example, I want whoever signed up and started paying in September to get access to that month's content and everything else moving forward as long as they are still subscribed, but not the content from August or any other previous months if that makes sense. You mentioned in the video that you set up payments elsewhere so I was wondering if you found a streamlined way to do this by any chance? Thanks in advance!
The rewards/gamification is useless. They need to include rewards within the platform, ie. unlocking the next level of course material. They also need to add tiers of course material so that additional courses can be purchased within a community in order to upsale.
This is awesome!! such big update... are they introducing a calendar feature like skool have for masterclasses and group coaching with the ability to add a zoom link or a button for people to register?
Have they covered what communities will be like with the grey level app for the end user who wants to join multiple GHL communities? That's the thing I believe Skool has over GHL is that an end user can use the same app to join multiple communities from different people. Because of that the traffic and behavior is on Skool more than on GHL
This is insane.. its like you have GHL and then you just got a "skool" module for free .. lol.. I really need to dig into GHL and start making some money
So do you reload any courses into the LEARNING section of community rather than using any courses you may have already created in the old courses module?
Hi, I have a few question. - I want a private group but I'd like to turn off a membership request. How can I do it? - If I can't turn off, how can I get notification about requests? - Where can I see the membership question answers? - Why cannot map the membership question to custom field? - How can I modify or turn off the client portal automatied emails about sign in? Thanks!
1 - You can't fully turn off membership requests for private groups. You will have to manually manage membership approvals. 2 - You can set up email or app notifications in Go High Level or Skool to alert you when new membership requests come in. 3 - In Go High Level, membership question answers are usually stored in the Contacts section, where you can review the information tied to each request. 4 - Go High Level currently doesn't support automatic mapping of membership questions to custom fields. You would need to manually add that data. 5 - Go to Settings > Email Templates in Go High Level to customize or turn off automated emails, including the client portal sign-in emails.
@@gohighlevelwizardd Thanks a lot, I made workaround for pending request and membership questions too. Hopefully in the future it will work automatically. The last one should be great, but unfortunatelly I cannot find Settings / Email Templates. There isn't email templates menu in the sidebar. There should be another step after settings, isn't it? thanks
So for your private group you can't completely turn off membership requests for a private group. You will need to manually approve or deny each membership request. This is a stndard feature to maintain the privacy and exclusivity of the group. However, you can manage the approval process efficiently by receiving notifications when someone requests to join.
If you can't turn off membership requests in Go High Level, you can set up notifications to alert you when someone requests to join your private group. you just need to enable email or app notifications within the Settings or create an automation workflow to notify you whenever a new request comes in. This way, you'll stay updated on membership requests in real tim
For GHL, you can view the membership question answers in the Contacts section. Once someone submits a request to join your community, there information, including their answers to any membership questions, will be stored in their contact profile. You can access and review this information to decide whether to approve or deny their membership.
Do you know if there is a limit to how many courses or communities I can have? I want to use a course for onboarding for my SMM clients and their teams
Just found your channel, great info! I am not a GHL member (yet) but I believe it is a great housing option for my AI Marketing Agency, I was wondering if this feature is something that is included with the $100/month plan or just the $300/ month plan?
Hey there I have a question about Go high level. If I would sign on a client and manage there business for example reviews I would need to connect there google account right? Meaning I need there account details? Like how would you do this? I assume no business will just give there google my business account details since you have to login with it?
Nope. They would need to log in but you don't have to get their details to do this. When they log on to their account, they can simply log in themselves. It will take like 10 seconds
Skool is better. They are steps ahead. With a “private community” in GHL, people on Skool create a free and paid community which offers more access. Skool has a calendar, direct messages, email drip campaigns and much more. GHL is just trying to find other ways to market what they offer. There’s nothing GHL does that Skool doesn’t. 😅
Something built in 2022 is so much ahead than something that is just recently rolling out but getting regular feature updates monthly? You dont say! I cant imagine what other genius takes you must have, lol. You're rambling like HL doesnt literally have millions of dollars and an army of developers to build on the MVP they released like they have with their other features. Check back in a year and make the same claim. There's literally 100 features HL offers that Skool doesnt. "Skool has a calendar, direct messages, email drip campaigns" -- LOL. HL already has all of those features, it's just a matter of integrating it with Community which will likely happen this year without the limitations Skool has.
@@MarciaRobinsonzexactly lol but sam is such a nice guy and we all "like him". Forget the popularity contest with him and Hormozi, we (the people) care about what we actually need. I may let go of skool with the updates GHL is getting
@@AugustDavinDeepson I wouldnt jump ship yet. We have GHL for our community and its still buggy. Granted we jumped from having a wordpress members area & a group.me so its still an improvement but its not there yet.
@@saronamarketing again, people need what they need. And they need it yesterday. Different folks different wants and needs. I have both for my own purposes. Thank you for your 2 cents lol
Can I sell goHighLevel features or features individually, according to the customer’s request, or should they not be sold all in one package? and how's that
You have some control here but not a ton because most features are packed into even the basic plan. You can create a custom solution though and package it together and sell it. Great convo for my community: go.itskeaton.com/affiliate
