We returned home to Zimbabwe after 20 years in the UK raising our two, now teenage boys. We hardly had any time to travel abroad as we are also self employed. I was there in October for 3 weeks after I’ve been away for 23 years. It’s not for me at all I can’t handle the chaotic atmosphere. I was better when I was in the villages not in the city or driving around. So my honest experience is it’s not for me my life will end here in Canada.

I went home to Zim in Feb 2023 after 28 years. Loved every minute of being back with family and friends such an amazing country to grow up in ❤

Yes, we got visa at the airport at Harare. We only had to wait a bit longer as the process is bit slow but all in all no issues at all.

@xray7simplazprod226 you are so right. Everyone one of us who went to the UK around 2000 had challenging circumstances that others may not understand. At the end did the day home is always the best that’s why we come back.
