I grew up in Douala then moved to Yaoundé as a young adult. When you talk about the “heat”???…man o man I hear you 100%. Phoenix and Las Vegas are hotter but dry…Douala temp can read 90° on the thermometer but the humidity is what’s gonna get you. Bro, you can literally sweat the fat out…no wonder why most people in the area are skinny. Man o man, I don’t see myself living in Douala again. I built my house in Yaoundé when I visit Cameroon.
