A bit harsh, don't you think? School is an institution for educating - it doesn't have to be academic. The world would be in a much worse state if all we can bring to the table is academics! It's no wonder many academics have no life skills and/or common sense! Whatever someone wants to learn don't rubbish it. You don't know their background and/or handicaps be it phyiscal or mental. Studying doesn't come easy to all and many people are more practical learners rather than text book learners. None of us are born knowing anything and we go through life never knowing everything! Whilst alive on Earth, it's never too late to learn something new to expand your mind and broaden your skill sets, no matter your age.
