Super cool! Now, if one were to hook a cheap rigging plate to the boat amidships (maybe slightly in front of the plane of the CLR) with a swivel or a soft shackle, and attach three carabiners to said rigging plate, they would have gained the means to clip\unclip the kite lines into those carabiners, thus creating a tow point that is fixed to the boat - an effective equivalent of a mast-and-sails` CoE. This should make the kite+boat system more predictable, and an added safety benefit would be that the towing forces from the kite would be redirected in such a way that the kite operator would be pulled towards the boat, not away from it. So the kite operator would be able to sit inboard next to the helmsman (or hike out, if need be) while tending to the kite.

I don't know what's funnier watching these guys kiting a catamaran or 2 Dutch dudes laughing hysterically the whole time. 😂
