Going Deeper than Ever Before - RAINWORLD 

this is the kind of game that starts out so innocently. you actually dont expect it to be much more than exploring, but when you go far enough into it you discover a deep - balls deep - layer of story, plot, and everything.

- Yellow/orange lizards are infact pack hunters. The antennae on their heads is how they communicate with each other. If one spots you, they'll make a buzzing noise and all the others will suddenly know your location. But they're not too hard to get past. - That tentacle/ethereal looking creature is known as an echo. There's multiple echos in the game and carry a lot of lore significance (I'll spare the details cos it requires a lot of context) but gameplay wise, each one will raise your max karma level by 1 or 2. There are a couple echos that appear automatically but most require you to visit the room first before visiting it next cycle (and have almost max karma). This is one of two ways to make it to the max level karma but it takes longer than the alternative. - The reason you were able to escape from that green lizard at 18 minutes was because it had food. If a lizard has food, it will ignore the player until it has stored it in it's den. Also blue lizards tend to get bullied and eaten by other creatures including other lizards. - Adult centipedes (and anything longer) can kill you with their zap. Most centipedes aren't aggressive but overgrown centipedes and red centipedes will actively hunt you. - The metal bird is known as a miros bird or scissor bird. They can insta-kill you with their beak but can be avoided with underground tunnels and deep holes. - The creature at 28:30 is called a dropwig. They hide on ceilings and wait for anything unfortunate enough to walk underneath. You were really lucky to have escaped it easily. They're another creature that won't kill you upon getting caught and can get saved by a lizard or scavenger. - Lizards that stumble into dens are actually pacified to allow the player to escape. Though sometimes the lizard might get fully tamed but it only happened to me once (and it was before all the new content updates) - Looks like monster kelp (big red/clifford) can eat anything a slugcat can eat. I've seen them eat popped bubble fruit and blue fruit among other creatures - Bro sounded like Zote the Mighty for a hot minute at 37:51 😆 - Black lizards/mole lizards are completely blind but have amazing hearing. Luckily they're only found in dark places. I really feel sorry for you when you get to the point you can't progress without higher levels of karma and have to back track. But to be fair, a couple people DID warn you about this.

This episode is rather interesting. Looks like we're going to be learning certain lessons the hard way.

i finished watching, nice episode. it is very interesting, i haven't realized yet, but the difficulty spike from from the outskirts to farm arrays is definitely very notable. in my playthroughs i was dying the whole fucking time, so every area (cept for an unfortunately developed specific one) seemed equally as difficult. you broke the progression most of us usually do when playing for the first time, but this is completely fine. Rain world is a game you're supposed to play ss natural as you feel like it. you lost your guide (iggy) so it might be more difficult to know how to get arround sinxe the blue iggies dont help. whatever you intend to do next, im here for it. when you finish playing with this character, i think it would be really cool if you played with the monk character.

you better have a passage to get out of this place or you'll have to take the long way out btw big reds are called monster kelp,black lizards are blind but hear very well spiders dont like light the weird birds are called miros birda ans they can be blinded by the flashbang get out of subterranean
