You have a good point and I'm glad you commented. It's something I have come to realise many months later. I also had a pretty serious effort at the decent time on a busy day in September (only my second time descending). I have since decided I will never try and beat this time again, and people should think twice at attempts. When descending I was totally in the moment, in complete flow. Now the fear has had a delayed effect, now I'm afraid of trying again. It's not worth it. Life would change forever in a split second. I am 8th on the All time list, with average speed of 58.3km on the last 5km, with a lot of public and hire cars. It's not big and it's not clever. Don't be tempted, never again.
