You could not have picked a better guy than Richard not only a true craftsman but a funny and likeable guy we need more project binky! And for someone who has owned 48 P6's so far I can say in my expert view that 7 days is indeed a normal working period for a Rover.

Most 60’s,70’s and upto 00’s all wagons (Estates) were saloons and you could see that they just extended the roof and put glass on the boot wings. Saloons always looked better. Modern estates look good now.

Re barns: you'd be surprised. Since I've lived in rural Somerset and followed a few leads it seems likely that every barn you see has at least one car in it!

When Chris said he'd bought a Vitesse, and then a second, I thought the original SD1 Vitesse!... but hey those later non SD1 versions were ok. At the end of the day any cheap car is that because service/maintenance has been skipped and you get what you pay for. Even the worse car in the world will run and run if its maintained.

Good format. Do more. BTW, Clive Owen would have been a good Bond, but has no credibility from the knees down. Look at any full length shot of him walking (or worse, running)and you'll see what I mean.
