I'm so glad you are having fun with the videos! But we understand if you can't do crazy stuff obviously because you are working so hard on the show that we all are so excited for!!
The second half of the vlog, omg BEST VLOG EVER! So quirkily you and not you trying to 'present' your life it was just you experiencing it and I love the moments in between the exposition, like when you were on hold, or panning around Gus. It felt thought about and not as choppy and off the cuff feeling as the past vlogs. Love You!
Cats feel safe in boxes or enclosed spaces. Usually, when cats are in new/stressful places (vet, car, airport, etc) they will stay in their carrier where it is "safe". Not always, but usually.
Gus probably loves his pink carrier because cats love being contained! It helps them feel safe. Which is why cats always go into boxes and if there us a circle or other shape drawn on the floor they will sit in it.
Oh gerd, that Black Top & Checker cab holding time! What a flashback. But cabs usually sit out across the street from your building; I don't know if you know that. (Sorry if that freaks you out. I used to live down the lane so I recognize the views. Live across the country now...)
just be aware colleen!! i am super allergic to cats so i get this.. planes are full of air that is circulated. having a cat out could make someone super sick. i wouldn't want you to get in trouble, but i also wouldn't want someone to have a bad reaction mid-flight with no solution.
Hi Colleen!! I love you SO MUCH!! I wanted to audition for the part in Haters back off, but I don't live in Vancouver! I wish I could meet you. You are so sweet and are a true inspiration. Love you!❤💛💚💙💜😊
+Colleen Vlogs Colleen, my cat hates getting in his carrier because it always leads to the Vet, but as soon as we get in the room and I take him out, he gets nervous and wants right back in. I guess it's a security blanket type of situation. Then we come home and he bolts out of the carrier. 😜
I don't think the people commenting about how Gus shouldn't be flying, feel bad for him, etc. understand that Persian cats are not like a regular house cat that wants to go hunt outside and all of that. They are much more dog-like in their personality and attached to their owners. They're also much more okay with going different places and not as territorial as a "normal cat." I have a purebred Siberian and she is totally similar to Gus in those ways. Always right next to me and wanting to go wherever I go. I would rather have her stressing out for a few hours so that she could be with me while traveling than stuck at home alone for someone to come feed her each day. They need more time with their owners than that. Just saying, don't judge how the cat is doing based on Colleen being concerned about his anxiousness on the plane. She's just being a good, cautious cat mother. He's in his cute pink carrier right next to his mom the whole time. Not in the undercarriage of the plane or something! That's my rant. Love you Colleen! :)
