I’ll explain. Due to its flip dot sign that was discontinued by MCI and is no longer used on their buses+the shape of the lights is no longer used like a rectangle, and they have a different back
@@piedmontrf81 this model (D4500) technically was built all the way into 2023, however at about 2005 there was a refresh of this bus model which modified the front and rear caps of this bus and it was renamed the D4500CT. However, this model is no longer in production as of 2022/23, and has been fully replaced with the D45 CRT.
@@lambo8961It’s actually *not* a D4500 but a 2000 102-D3 (aka 102-DW3SS). D4500’s were discontinued in 2005 and replaced by D4500CT and D4500CL, NJT has just retired their remaining 2001 and 2002 D4000’s in Q4 2023.
Even it has an mci logo in the front now is it a historical bus just like the two NJT mc9s , the two RTS 40ft/30ft & two flexible metro b and D including Grumman 870
