the shock on your face after you had her says it all. so thankful you’re all okay + i pray you heal from this experience (if you need it)!! Much love and congratulations!
I had my daughter this passed November at 33 weeks pregnant ..I feel all the emotions come fluttering back just watching this. It's a tough situation, but she is being well taken care of. Nicu nurses are angels!!
As an L&D nurse I can only imagine all the emotions you’re going through right now. I know this delivery did not go as planned but I’m so happy baby is doing well and your delivery went safely. I’m sending you guys so so much love and strength! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
This brings so many emotions back from when my son was in the NICU. I’m sending you so much love Aspyn. No one understands the trauma and emotions that a family goes through when having a baby in NICU especially with other children at home. My heart is with you ❤
As someone who had a baby 2 weeks ago and also had a baby in the NICU right away I FEEL this! Total shock and a feeling of “what just happened”. Right there with you as we navigate a new world of NICU babies, breastfeeding, pumping and a new norm. When you start to feel alone know I’m there with you!
The best mama 💕 I can’t imagine how hard it’s been having her in the NICU and just trying to process having her come so early etc. so thankful she’s gotten such good care and sending all the prayers for lots of growing and health for her ❤️
Biggest thing for little babes this age is learning how to eat!! They don’t coordinate their suck/swallow/breathe until about 36 weeks and they also develop their feeding cues around then also! Congrats on your new little bean, sincerely, a very passionate NICU nurse who has been following you since the beginning ❤
I also had my son at 35 weeks. I went in the hospital on my 34 week and I didn’t get to leave till I had him. So I was in there for a full week. And leaving to go home empty handed was the worst feeling. My heart goes out to you
Thank you for sharing your experience 🫶🏼 I was in the same boat as you 2 years ago & I couldn’t really find anyone online who had gone through a similar experience so my postpartum was rough, I just felt like I failed my son. But he came home after about 13ish days & now he’s a crazy 2 year old. Wishing babygirl a strong & healthy life 🫶🏼💘
Congratulations 🩷 I'm very happy that both of you are healthy and well. Take time to process everything and let the emotions go through you. It's really important since you weren't ready for such an early birth and overall experience even after. ✨ Sending love and strength, you are such a strong person I honestly admire you. 🤍
The shock on your face was so clear - but I’m glad that you’re all doing okay and are hopefully settled in at home, or soon to be! Congrats to you, Parker, and the girls ❤
It’s crazy how well you’re holding it together. I can’t imagine going home without my baby!! Congrats to your family, glad you and the baby are doing good
Our stories are very similar . I had my water break at exactly midnight at 34 weeks . Our 2nd daughter Natalie was 5lbs 2 Oz . That was over 20 years ago and in 57 days she will marry
Aw Congratulations! My twins were born super early at 30 weeks & their NICU stay was 2 months so I know exactly how you’re feeling 🫂hopefully you get to take baby home very soon, much love ❤️
I had both my babies premature (33 weeks & 28 weeks) and I totally relate to the dissociating! It’s like my mind and my body could not comprehend having them and that I wasn’t still pregnant. Also I had emergency c sections bc of preeclampsia so that could’ve contributed, but it’s still shocking I feel like regardless! Hoping you and baby are healthy & healing!
SO happy you and baby are doing well Aspyn! I definitely remember that feeling when my water broke at 33 weeks with my first baby. I hope she gets out of the NICU soon!
I had both my babies early. My boy at 29+6 in 2020 and my daughter 35+5 a month ago. Congratulations girl 💕 such a specials story to be able to tell your child!
Congrats, Aspyn and Parker! I had my baby at 34wks too when my water broke while I was sleeping. I literally woke up and thought, "did I pee?" lol but I wish you and the whole fam the best!
Congratulations. I hope your baby girl will be ok. That was a quick labour and delivery, just glad everything went well. Sending lots of love your way. Xxx
i grew up with 2 older sisters and im so happy your family will be similar to mine, amazing girlboss vibes and they will grow up to be best friends❤️❤️sending love queen
Reliving my birth experiences through you. All of mine came so fast. Dilating so fast and giving birth literally put me in a weird space because I never could be in the moment with how fast everything went. Having a nicu baby messed me up even more, leaving the hospital without a baby but just thankful they were healthy! Congratulations to you guys 🤍
It was so hard for me to push in the end bc the pressure made me feel like my legs were going to blow off !!! My son had to be under the lights too ! ❤ congrats !
Congratulations to you guys and the girls for their new baby sister 💕 I know you guys will continue to be the absolute best parents. Baby girl is so lucky to be born into the Ferris-Ovard Family 🥹
I was admitted at 28 weeks for severe preeclampsia until I gave birth at 34 weeks. My little boy is doing so well! The NICU is hard, but they took such good care of the little babies! Your sweet little one is in good hands.
Welcome baby girl ❤ I had my son at 33+6 and it was a really hard birth due to pre eclampsia. I hope you're okay, it's kind of a traumatic way to give birth when it's to early, so I just want to say: take some time if you need, speak to specialists maybe even if you think you don't need it, heal physically but most importantly mentally. I send you love, take care ❤
I also had my baby girl at 34 + 5 days ❤ I knew my whole pregnancy that she was coming early, but was not expecting a whooping 5 weeks early! Literally had my baby shower and the day after we welcomed our little girl lol can definitely relate to the shock because we were not expecting her so early 😂 Congratulations! 💕 hope you and baby girl are doing well x
I had my twins at 34+3 weeks they stayed in the NICU for 2 weeks, i had 2 kids at home and it was the hardest thing ive had to do as a mom especially on timed maternity leave. 😭 im glad she is home now and i hope you all are doing well!!❤
i had my babe at 31 weeks. it can be so scary. sending wishes of love, light, and health to you, your family, and your little preem babe! theyre fiesty ones, watch out
16 weeks here and first time mom but I was wondering and this may sound like a dumb question but when a baby is born earlier than 40 weeks such as 35 weeks, is the baby a week old after a week has passed or would they still be 36 weeks as far as development wise?
Not sure if it's hormones (I'm 21 weeks with my second) but i'm crying watching this, so glad you are both healthy and safe and wishing your family the best!
I had my baby girl at 35 w and 1 day. I didnt have my water break at home but it did shortly after i arrived at the hospital, i was having terrible contractions. Was screaming from the pain. They checked to see how far i was dilated when i arrived and i was already at a 9 so i couldnt get an epidural, they also couldnt get an iv in me. Well less than 20 minutes getting to the hospital, 2 pushes it took for my daughter to arrive. The nurse said it was like she shot out of me. I wasn’t expecting any of it to go the way it did and for her to come so quickly. Most painful experience of my life. 13 days in the nicu! My beautiful girl is 9 months now 💜
