You’ll just end up paying more in interest, which would unnecessarily extend your life in debt. sacrificing now to pay off all your debt will put more money in your pocket in the long-run. That’s money you can throw into your retirement accounts and set your future self up for all the vacations you want. Regardless of how you decide to go about it, I respect the f out of you for owning and tackling your debt. Keep at it, I know you’ll succeed.
New subscriber ❤ I feel like there should be a balance between paying off debt and enjoying life. When I was so focus on paying off my debt I burned myself out. I was always angry and stressed but now baby who? Them debt could wait. I took a month off from my job and went on a cruise and hang out with family. I'm in a happier place and relaxed, that I could focus on paying off debt without feeling like I'm in a race.
Nah they would absolutely clash. Caleb would be absolutely questioning the vacation and any frivolous spending. If she doesn't want to hear it then fine, but he'd still call it out either way. He wouldn't sugar coat it. If she's already decided what's best for her, then no reason to audit.

Sometimes it helps to just listen and encourage. Some people just have a habit of being financial planners when they are not and if you did have or are currently having financial struggles you are not helping by being negative toward someone else trying to do better. Be a good human and listen and encourage.

You are so correct in everything youa said. It is your journey not anybody else's. I had my own financial journey that I took care of on my own time and now I am in a good space. Expect the haters to hate because it is the one thing they do best online. You can still enjoy your life and better your financial situation. I have been there. Just keep doing what you are doing and the debt will get paid off.

hi! i just found your channel randomly through the algorithm, and i've only watched 2 videos of yours - this one and the one right before it first off - happy 30th birthday! next, i think you're starting 2024 on the right track. actually following through with any goal can be really difficult because you have to discipline yourself every day - and life happens. you're still young and obviously seem educated, you WILL and CAN tackle this debt and change your spending habits!! about the vacation, people have no idea if this is your first vacation in years or in weeks, so i can see why you would be upset by that. and they don't need to know every little detail to justify your choices. i do personally think you can cut back on some expenses and attack the cc debt more aggressively but in the end it's YOUR decisions and YOUR money! in the end you don't owe anybody on the internet anything - you can work on yourself behind the scenes too. this response video made me a tiny bit concerned for you bc i would hate for you to potentially face consequences (like from your job) let's gooo 2024!! 💓
