You should have gone with Thomson's 7050 aluminum riser bars, their 7000 series aluminum X4 stem, and 7000 series aluminum Masterpiece post. Or even better, their 3/2.5 Titanium risers and seatpost😁🤘🤘
I'd be curious what your measured head tube angle is. My 140mm forked Maniak was significantly slacker than expected. 62 degrees, if I recall. I'm putting a +2 headset in it and also shortening the travel of my Helm to 130mm. I like slack bikes, but this was much more than I expected!
@@chickensendies Sadly, what I found was the frame is simply 1.5-2 degrees slacker than stated on the website. With a 140 fork mine should've been right around 64 degrees. In reality it was 62 degrees! I experimented with a +1 headset and now will be installing a +2. I saw Steve at HP looks to be doing the same per an IG post of his. I hate to think about it, but I think these frames are way slacker than they're supposed to be. :( Kind of a bummer considering the cost. I still love the bike, but some aspects of it left me a bit disappointed. I'd be curious if you get chance to measure the actual HTA. If you do, please chime in with the results! :) Keep up the great work. Really enjoy the channel!
Some top of the line wheel sets can be pricey, also the Earth 🌎 spins on it's axis too, I did a Rooster 🐓 sound the other day, previous day 7 cans of Mackerel, felt like I laid 🥚 🐣.

Very very very nice build. What size is the frame? I am also thinking of getting one but the stand over seems very high 800mm on MED but when I see your build it doesn't look like that.
@@chickensendies its basically just installing a grub screw, or other M4 screw to give the brakes the same ability as the XT version. Not a huge mod, but it allows a little more lever adjustment. I tried it the other week.
