@@fire_watch7735 996 turbo has a mezger engine which is in no way related to the 996 engine with IMS and bore scoring issues. Even then, less than 5% of cars were and are actually affected

Yeh Mezger engine so no bore score or other 996 issues. I don’t think they’ll go up loads as there were a lot of them and were controversial. In principle, yes but I wouldn’t get too excited. Also, in 20 years how much of the market will have a manual license to buy these cars and drive up prices…
The Toyota Century uses cloth upholstery because cloth is a man-made material, whereas leather is derived from animals. In Japan, human craftsmanship is highly valued. Leather, being derived from an animal, lacks the human know-how in its creation.
