Good suggestion! We usually tip 20% when eating out if there is table service. 10% or less if we just pick up food. Much more than in Ireland where we just visited! Thanks for watching!

@@TravelwithNJSteveandSue so we went to the marshwalk and the lot had a sign "text to pay and park" do you guys park somewhere for free? Also at Surfside we saw the same sign, but I think you park somewhere free maybe?

At the n Marsh walk we park for free at the dirt lots right across the street. If its not busy there is also free parking by Bovines. Surfside charges for parking march through october. Parking is free all winter. Most of garden city beach has free parking even during the summer. We usually park at Calhoun street (always free) and magnolia ave (free during the day but they charge at night). There is a pay lot in garden city beach near the firehouse but we only use that if all the free spots are filled which usually doesn't happen even during the summer if you arrive at garden city beach before noon. @@TravelwithNJSteveandSue we loved Huntington and Atalaya Castle. We stayed at Inlet Sports Lodge one night so we could have dinner at Costa and not rush home. (We are an hour away near Lake View. ) we walked some near the Lodge and planning to visit Brookgreen next. Lots of traffic!
