To people who have been to Japan, how difficult or stressful did you find your trip as someone who only speaks English? I really wanna go but I'm worried a little since I don't speak Japanese.

I went to Japan not too long ago and I also didn’t speak Japanese. In bigger cities, such as Tokyo and Osaka, a lot of people could speak English or understand it so it was easy to communicate. In smaller cities, people were willing to use a translator to communicate. Overall it was easy to communicate with them. I recommend having a translator app if you plan on going to Japan :)

Like the comment above me stated, a lot of people in larger cities will understand you better while in smaller cities it is more common to use a translator app. But almost all signs in Japan have an English translation so it is pretty easy to navigate. Technology helps a lot. But many people are very considerate if you only speak English.😁

i feel like every time i watch a vlog of a content creator travelling with friends, it always makes my heart warm but throb at the same time like, im so glad that the people i watch get to do these sorts of things and go places, but at the same time it kinda makes me "yearn" for an experience like this with friends in the future sort of also i love travelling like this, it always gives me something to look forward to in the year or so :)
