One thing I must say is that engineer is well and truly a sensation at this point. People like you and Dr. Taimoor interviewing him means a lot when you look at the tremendous divide the liberal and religious sides always had. Kudos for letting the religious side present its arguments in an eloquent manner.
I think it was one of your most thoughtful podcasts and actually answers most common conflicts that we face living abroad on a daily basis... Kudos to you and your team!
Shehzad bhai most of army is deployed from jhelum and many people from jhelum lives abroad ...so whole jhelum is developed actually whole north punjab is developed coz of these two factors 🙂
Your argument is not fully right, Tehsil Pind Dadan is also part of Jhelum and Khewra salt range is the highest revenue generator in District Jhelum. Tehsil Pind Dadan Khan and Khewra Salt Range is fully exploited by elites.
Exception is always there ...but I am talking in general...I am also from kharian and I know that there are very few underdeveloped areas in our region...
Well done Shehzad. As I commented on the original podcast, your interview gave us the opportunity to make our own judgement about him instead of being guided by you. That’s the beauty of your podcast. Keep up the good work.
I am so glad that you clarified on the conversions part. Look forward to you explore the whole religious background to Dawah, Islamic proselytisation and forced conversion
Salam, it was a great effort on your part especially since you were sick. Ali bhai was very accommodating as well. I've seen how he deals with people who annoy him but he was cordial with you even when things got uncomfortable. It was a good dynamic. I really hope there's a part two. A shame about the technical issues but it'll probably help you in planning things better in the future I think. Please do share some of the off camera stuff as well if possible. جَزَاكَ ٱللَّٰهُ خَيْرًا May Allah guide us all ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ
Yes Brother, you are right, I am from Jhelum. Yes, there is a big difference between Cantt and the city area. Taking aside the brands, just considering infrastructure, if you move from internal Jhelum City to Cantt area you will start noticing the difference as the boundary of cantt area starts and as you enter the main cantt area you will be amazed to see and observe that I have entered in another city like DHA 😂😂 With Brands and all others one point can also be that as Jhelum is the smallest District of Pakistan area wise so that's why these brands open their outlet in a more spacious land rather than in already congested market. However, still there are many clothing outlets in city as well including J. WB etc....
It's funny how you don't call yourself a journalist but you're following all the journalistic principles than the ones who do to the letter. Brilliant work. Keep it up.
It was a great podcast, a breath of fresh air for sure. You did push back when you could and handled it brilliantly, I was getting second-hand embarrassment when he kept taunting you over marriage, lekin sahi hai. Kudos to you, can't wait for the upcoming episodes!
Why I love ur podcast is ur ability to think out of box easily expressed at 1.50 min ...i have travelled a bit never thought of this but wht a view point ...simply wow
You did a brilliant job in this interview 👍 and thanks to Engineer Saab for his insights. I will check out what he has to say on his channel (never did before) .
The only podcast out of hundreds i saw twice. Really enjoyed the intellectual and unique questions no one asked before. Keep up the good work. Excellent job
Hahaha TPE withdrawals yess that sums it up. Hope you're feeling better! 🌼 And really appreciate your work and efforts. I started watching your podcasts earlier this year and I've learned so much. Thank you! ✨
Dude, you did a great job in that podcast. These are very sensitive topics. You maintained a great deal of civility, had situational awareness and maintained the 'do unto others' code. wouldn't have expected anything less than that from you. great going man.
Ya Allah make it easier for me and all muslims to become true muslims Ya ALLAH give magfirah and jannatul firdous to every muslim who has passed away and give shifa to every sick living thing and turn all our sins into good deeds and make this life and hereafter easier for us that are still alive and give us afiyah and jannatul firdous and make us good muslims and give iman to all non muslims Allahumma Ameen ❤❤ Jazakumullahu khairan Guys copy this dua and share it with everyone❤️ Wty
Shehzad, you controlled the whole scenario very well. In the start, Engineer Mirza was feeling that you are a representative of PDM, but the way you carried on the discussion was superb. Kudos to you and your team.
Jhelum is a progressive city. Few years ago it remains on the top 3 positions in Pakistan literacy rate. People have business money, and brands are adapted very early on. if you go across other area you will find people doing well overall. A lot of population is overseas . The restaurants and chains in GT road is to handle huge traffic and overseas guests. Residence in Jhelum is far better, affordable and stress free compare to nearby cities. Nobody cares about cantonment and we know they are looking for free food. They are never seen near any food chains 😁
May ALLAH(ﷻ) make us all true lovers of our beloved Prophet MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) , his Ahl al-Bayt and his Companions Ameen. 🤲❤🕋................... ...........
Jhelum ka baray ma Ap ki baat bulkul thek around aramy Ap bhut Acha sab kuch nazar ayta hy international foods shops hospital roads safai but jesy hi ap Jhelum sa TEH pindadan khan road ma nikly litterly after 10 minutes sab kuch change nazar ayta hy toti roads her taraf ganda pani safai koi nhi saaf pani nhi
Macdonalds kfc etc is also likely to cater for the UK Pakistani dispora who visit regularly too. Have investments and some have even moved back to remain in Jhelum.
He didn't even did that he just avoided the questions. i.e. He said that if husband is cruel on wife, she should also hit him, but the quran and hadith allows men to beat wives and it orders wives to obey their husbands.
@@munnamobile6079Let me know by enlightening why can't we follow Quran or ahadith in this or coming centuries. Have you actually read all the material that you here are generalizing that today's generations can't or impossible to be followed in this era? Do not make assumptions based on what others say or how they act because you are talking about books that according to your thought not possible to be followed because of this "great era". Answer only if you are true to yourself and have you read all the ahadith and Quran, please remember you did not say about a portion of book but generalize a whole.
Finding Heaven landing into hell. People should stop worrying about the country but after life luxuries. Just keep reading quran and preaching and screwing others. In this way you get heaven like treatment before and after death.
hay bro I have scene your podcast in which you had mentioned that there is something controversial in hanafi school of thought that even you cant say that on camera can you please tell me here what was that or any clue
BTW I did see both the podcasts and as I am an illiterate, but still Dr. Tiamoor Rehman was open minded in the discussion. That is a relative analysis. Your discussion was good too.
Ahmad bhai kindly do a second podcast with Engineer to ask new amazing questions that were not discussed in the part 1. It was great to see two intellectual personalities together.🙏😇🌸
sorry sir ...same BIASED thinking about punjab ...punjabi people work very hard to earn and they spend money on their family not on taking chars and show off ...punjab is also peaceful more than karachi .......so please correct your self about punjab...thanks ... sahiwal macdonald is not in garrisons
punjabi work hard to baqi baith kar taalian bajaty hain? hard work kia hota hai ham se pocho.. jin ko sab se zada tax bharny k baad bhi kuch nahi mil raha... aur punjab peaceful is lye hai q k wahan ki police bhi punjabi hai, aur sary criminals ko yehi punjabi police Karachi mai support karti hai..... tum log hamesha se bohat selfish aur khud parast ho isi lye baqi Pakistan ka haal punjab se alag hai...
You think only people in Punjab work hard to provide for their families? I don’t know how you’ve come to that conclusion, and how you’ve blatantly said “Punjab is more peaceful than Karachi” like it’s Karachi’s and it’s people’s own fault. Karachi pays more tax per capita - “According to FBR’s analysis of city-wise income tax collection, Karachi has a major share of 41.39% in total income tax collection of the FBR. Province-Wise data revealed that Sindh remained the highest contributor to income tax in total income tax collection”. I have quoted the official FBR report here. This clearly shows who “works hard and who pays more” and who doesn’t. Its just devastating to see how Sindh has been deprived of it’s fair share of development and division of resources. The problem is much deeper rooted than you know. It’s years and years of Bigotry and unfair population consensus that has lead to Sindh being left out of development and fair distribution of resources. It’s easy to just blatantly vomit baseless assumptions without knowing the reality and I don’t really expect more from people like you. Please do your research and try to work on your OWN biased thinking before coming up with such bizarre conclusions.
@@shameelabbasy6210 ye bary saffak log hain, in ki nazar mai Pakistan sirf punjab hai, is se bahar jo kuch hai usy aag lagy wo tabah hojae ya gharak hojae in ko ghanty ka farq nahi parta, mai Pakistan se bahar in logon se milta tha to ye punjabi mai baat shuru kar dete thy, jab mai bolta tha k mujy punjabi nahi ati to pochty thy k tumhy punjabi q nahi ati? tum pakistani nahi ho... they are sick, hence the current condition of Pakistan .....
It was a wonderful discussion however, i wish there were some more questions on the mindset and divide that there is. Also, the principles that we abide by and their relevancies in today’s world. I’m all for constructive conversations but also criticism because its necessary. Great work as always, cheers!
Hi Shehzad...from India..I did not watch the full podcast..but whatever I have seen ...it was sensible..Good show....again requesting..wish to connect with you
I did notice a different Shehzad and mentioned that on Facebook to you as well. However, this explains the reasons. Get well soon, I have been traveling for over a decade, the medicine for the health issues you faced is rest - both physical and mental. So please take rest and keep inspiring.
Having discussed an issue on tape was more important than being discussed Infront of an audience. . . Engineer said time and again that agar ap k camera lense bardasht kar sakay, but I one thing I would say you must had push back more as your usual style , or else it will change your position from left to centre . . . And that is totally fine if your views evolve rather than not having a clear position on a certain subject. . And a clear position would matter if you deliver the case(of course without being offensive) Infront of thought leaders in opposite view point. Some ideal examples that come to mind are podcast of Faisal waraich with engineer Ali Mirza and Dr. Taimur. Rest keep up the videos with discourse
