Really good reminder, my bro. It's a topic not many talk about. Physical training shouldn't be about discipline as a Muslim man. You're right. It should be something that's completely normal. Refraining from all the fitan is the real discipline. MashaAllah, thanks for the reminder
The discipline of not obeying our desires is wayy more powerful and takes a lot of discipline compared to working out. Mashallah brother. Glad i came across this video. May Allah keep the ummah strong in all aspects Its very calming to hear a muslim man not brainwashed into the red pill blue pill nonsense or whatever all that is. I almost lost my faith in men after all that i see on social media and in real life all around me. Very disappointing Thank you for the refreshing video
felt like it was a good video to make coming from someone who trains consistently and regularly, alhamdulliah thank you for watching, as long as the world is spinning good people will always be here insh allah
yes my brother gym has nothing to do with discipline. getting up reading quran and prayer is far more rewarding than gym. striving and giving wealth to the poor is way better aswell bcoz allah commandsus to do so
We need more of this, it is very challenging for men and also for us women, specially living in the west, with all the distractions, hyper-sexualization everywhere, but also everything that we consume, the diet, the music, the content. Everything seems so superficial now that sometimes comes the hopelessness of finding a good partner who is committed in the same sense towards Allah SWT. May this upcoming month of Ramadan bring the best of us and guide us to a solid discipline. Keep going brother, and may Allah reward you.
Assalamualaikum Akhi an advice PLS change your foto profile because webl can see the awrah of the sister in the foto May Allah reward you and help you 💖😊
May ALLAH bless u abundantly man. Too many gems u just dropped. I wanted to also let u know that we shouldn't say the word "inshaALLAH" or "please" when making dua to ALLAH. For exemple, u can say "May ALLAH grant us strength" instead of "May ALLAH grant us strength inshaAllah".
In my opinion, waking up for Fajr every morning no matter what is where the REAL discipline is. It's a great litmus test for whether or not you are disciplined as a Muslim.
The algorithm can't and doesn't bless, that's a statement which could be considered a statement of Shirk, it's Allah who blesses as he is Tabaarak, no blessing should be attributed to an algorithm
Respectfully brother, i dont agree with this take. First off its not like gym is mandatory in islam, taking care of your body is. The gym would be going above and beyond, in my opinion, especially for those who live busy lives. This especially since so many people can live healthy lives without the gym. I like solving math problems, or cooking, but they arent things i do unless i motivate myself to do them. Going to the gym means creating that motivation for yourself, even when you're tired or just not feeling it. I would say thats discipline, even if you enjoy it. Lets not put down one form of discipline for another.
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in everyone, (but) cherish that which gives you benefit (in the Hereafter) and seek help from Allah and do not lose heart, and if anything (in the form of trouble) comes to you, don't say: If I had not done that, it would not have happened so and so, but say: Allah did that what He had ordained to do and your" if" opens the (gate) for the Satan. Sahih Muslim 2664
I read the title of this vid a few weeks back, and today I will be reviewing this brother as I'm curious in what he had to say as I thought what he might talk about, though I'm curious nonetheless. ( It's about time :) ).
Remember no one forces us to believe and be obedient to god but through our own promises. So put your money where your mouth is and show god and everyone around you you’re not all talk.
salam alaikum brother, this is your brother in Islam from the US. Thank you for the beautiful reminder about discipline. Masha Allah I really like your beard. Allahumma baarik. Do you have any tips on top how to grow beard? I have a patchy beard. Any advice would be appreciated. Jazaka Allah khairan
Wa alaykum Salam, thank you for watching. Akhi I rarely do anything to my beard sometimes I’ll use oils but funny thing is that I never used to have a beard 4 years ago before I started training, beard came after I started working out haha ! So workout that will boost it I’m sure !
@@sugoi9680 No hitting the head at all. No activity that causes major harm. Cover the awrah. No free-mixing (genders). Simple. Anything else, good to go. Research on IslamQA, or ask a trustworthy scholar about these conditions for a combat sport. Islam has a code. We follow the code. Simple. Only one deen. Islam.☝️ Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu
I will add though, that i suffer from depression and when it gets rough I find it extremely difficult to go do the thing I enjoy like going to the gym. Discipline here is where I go regardless of how depressed i am feeling
Just always remember we will never truly be happy in this world, I pray your depression goes away. stay firm and get everything done no matter how you feel, your never alone
so true bro the gym is so overrated. You just push a few weight and rest for 2 min. It take much more than this to be a disciplined muslim. We cannot have the same standards
This video made some humbling points mashallah, people are misconstruing what is mandated on us for being “disciplined”, like guys if your end goal in life is Paradise without punishment after death then what is fard shouldn’t need discipline. But after you work on increasing your iman through extra ibaadah like sunnah fasts, waking up middle of night to pray, refraining from idle talk, while also memorizing quran and other sources of knowledge, that takes more discipline because you need to actually push beyond what’s required to have better iman and results simultaneously. Kind of a long rant but in reality discipline as a muslim should be working towards refraining from haram and enjoining good while also working towards more ihsan in our good deeds.
couldnt of put it in better words, may allah swt increase us all in imaan. There is nothing like the sweetness of iman. Thank you for your input, may allah swt bless you
maintaining appropriate diet, working out at edge of limit to build muscle aggressively is very tiresome, takes straight mental strength But 100 agree with the rest akh
