@@CaseysCustoms hey Casey....im still learnin but... isnt your tank a little small?....looks like 3 bags would empty the tank (volume to volume)...if 4 bags = 1 tank youd only 1/2 the pressure. is that the right ratio?...wouldnt 2 tanks double your fill speed and need less pressure?

Bringing back the cars of my youth my friend Judy bought a 79 Monte Carlo brand new back in 1980 when I was a senior in high school. When I graduated from college and moved to California I got introduced to the low rider community. My girlfriend at the time brother had a 1977 Monte hydraulics “up and down side to side” !

Make the airbags jump the car just to further piss off the haters of no hydraulics because then not only will it drive good on the road you’ll be able to hop on a budget

If you want it faster you need to upgrade to a 1/2 inch manifold or do away with the manifold 2 1/2 inch valves per bag(one fill, one dump) keep in mind your system is only as quick as the smallest orifice.

1/2 inch lines run through 1/4 inch fittings greatly reduce the speed. With the 250psi pressure switch the 3/8 inch set up would have raised just as fast and just as high.

For your airline, find a 5 gal bucket, fill it with hot water and put your airline in it to let it soak for a bit. You can also drill a hole up by the ribs of the bucket at the top and urn the airline out of the hole to help straighten it up a bit.

If you want it faster get the individual solenoids and mount them at the bags so the line is all ready filled with air and you are only filling the bag. air-bag-it has them 1/2" 2W-160-15 10mm Orifice 150psi Brass Electronic Air Valve. Check them out but they are not plug and play you would have to wire them yourself but it would be way faster.

Back in my minitruckin days early 2000s we put the valves on top of the airbags and made the truck hop , I used 5/8 valves ans 1/2 in airlines, I also used engine driven compressor so i can get the 200 psu in the tanks qicker than the electric viair or firestone ones

I would HIGHLY recommend changing the push connect fittings to brass fittings I was having problems with my big rig because they use plastic for everything and they would leak over time. Go to any semi truck parts shop like truck pro or fleet pride and they will have all of those fittings you need. Trust me you would thank me later jmo

Great video.....the Training Day '79 Monte Carlo drew me in. The seats are bucket seats in the training day MC and the headpiece (forgot what they call them for the seats are not original, but from another car). There's a console in the center. Just a few things to remember as you build, but I think you'll pull it off 💯

That manifold may have a adjuster for how fast it goes down or up not for sure sure though..also for faster air build up get a York compressor man only if you don't mind not having AC. I have a York in my s10 and man I'm glad I made the change from compressors to York compressor. Looking good thoughh 😎😎😎

I've found the spray lithium grease works better for door and hood hinges than WD-40. Make sure you use the straw though. That grease goes everywhere when it comes out!

Digging on the build. A word of caution: You set the bumper up with the 78 taillights and not the 79 ones. The brake lights are double stacked on the 79 which means you would have to drop the bumper a couple of inches

As a kid I didn't really like these cars because of all the Goombahs in SS/IROCs. But looking at that '79 dropped, it's got some good lines on it and should be a great cruiser when it's done. Nice work.

Where you drilled the sheet metal to run the air lines would be improve if the holes had a grommet so that the movement of the lines would not chafe and eventually leak. Love the build!

So I’m watching on my tv but had to get the iPad just to let you know for $30 I’ve done my foxbody ceiling with corrugated plastic from Home Depot. It Looks real good and saved me $175+.
