Bernice - Go after your goals as an event planner! It’s YOUR dream and sometimes family & friends can’t see your vision & that’s okay. Start small, learn, make mistakes, invest in yourself, and make it happen. Yes it can be stressful at times but anything that is worth it takes hard work and will be rewarding.
