Born in Winter was the song that got me into Gojira. It's still one of my favourites! If I had to introduce someone to Gojira that's without doubt the song that I'd pick.

Gojira are incredible, their lyrics are like picture stories. Mario is also one of the best drummers in the world - in my opinion. Please make some reaction videos for Bad Omens or Architects (the orchestral version of Animals is awesome). While I love "The art of dying", this is probably one of the worst song of their catalogue to introduce a non metalhead to Gojira lol. This song was a great first pick, "L'enfant sauvage" or any song from their Silvera album would probably be a next great pick, art of dying would maybe be like the 5th or 6th song I'd make someone listen in Gojira as it's quite heavy :D@@Greatmeasures

Try World to come, Global Warming, the trails, the chant, the shooting star and another world, these are Gojira songs that I would consider more calm like born in winter but still very beautiful 🤘🏼

Really enjoyed this one, especially Judson’s piano intro. This is such a unique channel, with Richard obviously being a metal head, and hearing/seeing Judson analyze and interpret bands like Gojira with his classically trained ears…he even nailed the tuning (drop C) Great stuff from Great Measures! However I think Epilogue and The Violation would be just as sound to showcase the more involved orchestra, string and 🎹 keys sections that breath in the pieces…. The Violation has a symphony of movement throughout the entire track as opposed to just dashes here and there in their other tracks…. Amazing band, and fabulous song. I enjoyed the little piano cover / quick rendition (you pick up on stuff really fast, it's pretty impressive). But, truth be told, I was expecting you guys to comment a little more on the song itself. I'm glad you liked it and dug it, but, yeah, I was kind of expecting a more developed educated opinion.
