You need to relax your shoulder and right hand. Your string action is probably too low to let the notes ring enough. You're good enough! So, release the Gojira in you!

How are you hitting harmonics on the 4th fret during the breakdown?

It's natural harmonics, i don't even press the frets, also i'm on bridge pickup and have gain maxed out

@@benmartin6349 Also try touching the string with your thumb at the same time as the rake. Helps the high strings break through the sound a bit

There’s a lot of errors. There’s no open string before the octave 1-4 slide in the main riff. Was using your tab for a while but kept wondering why I was having trouble and it’s just incorrect tablature. The breakdown is wrong also it’s not an open on the 5th string it’s open on the 3rd. Chords in breakdown are off also. Hopefully others see this so they don’t waste their time struggling like me
