@@dmusiclife5727 If you want raw/tribal Gojira listen to the "Link Alive" version but, if you want a more perfected/mastered voice from Joe and overall picture perfect performance listen to the "Vieilles Charrues 2010" version. Cheers mate!
@@dmusiclife5727 Right on bro, looking forward to it! Btw this was a first for me too hearing in the wilderness, that outro was fucking ridiculous, definitely going on the playlist. Thank y'all both for being cool as hell putting the work in on these videos
This song is so good and heavy, especially since it follows “flying whales”. I had the same reaction when I first heard it. As for what song by Gojira that you should react to next, it has to be “Wisdom Comes (live)”, “Esoteric Surgery” or “Indians (live)”. All of those songs are extremely heavy. Keep it up man
I’m sorry but Indians isn’t that fantastic. Esoteric is the song that got me to fall in love with gojira. Wisdom comes is amazing, death of me, and yamas messengers are my fav off the link album. Actually my favorite off that album is definitely remembrance but they did it already. You can’t go wrong with any gojira albums, they’re gods or atleast aliens. If y’all wanna have the best day of your life, just a suggestion, do Terra Incognita, 1 reaction, the whole album start to finish. The tracks lizard skin, in the forest, and Satan is a lawyer are my favs but make sure when you do in the forest and lizard skin, do the link alive live version
As for Gojira, I really, REALLY want you to react to A Sight To Behold. It's very much like this one. Really emotional and Joe takes the song extremely seriously.
"... organized chaos...perfection". Never said better! Song's on another level! I really admire your discipline, to not run out and consume every Gojira song and every Gojira album. Nicely done!
BegToDiffah It’s very rare that band comes along and every single track is a masterpiece. Gojira is hands down one of the greatest to ever do it. It’s all about savoring the flavor with this band cause you can listen to the same track for months
Your Gojira reactions are one of my favorite youtube entertainment features lol May I suggest the song The Way of All Flesh, it's one of those special songs that they've never played live 'cause it has such unique elements You guys react like any Gojira fan wish their friends would react to Gojira lol please keep it up o/
One of the absolute best Metal albums ever produced. I often wear the album cover t-shirt (I have 3) and so many people ask... "what does Goiira mean?" because of how they have the 'J' written, ahahaha.
It brings a smile to my face and makes my head bang but it definitely brings anger to my heart, Joe is soo good at bringing to life the urgency of the need to recognize and reconcile the dire situation we are in environmentally before its too late.
I’m so glad you got around to this! Still one of my favorites, see I told you on your oroborus reaction that this song went crazy, glad to see you liked it man 🤟
I fucking love your reactions. Pure emotion and no pausing the song. I love watching people react to Gojira. It puts a giant smile on my face and fucking goosebumps man. It’s the closest I’ll get to hearing the songs for the first time again. You’re the best🙏🏼
Nice! You should react to Gojira - Wolf Down the Earth. Has one of their dirtiest rhythm breakdowns in my opinion. They haven't played it live sadly, maybe due to difficulty. Otherwise like someone else said, From the Sky live from Gaorock 2009 is also insane (or Studio Version). One of their absolute best songs with constant relentless double bass drums.
Hey Mr and Mrs Dylan Caldwell lol this is truck driver here and lol just caught Gojira reaction. It's 7 am over here in PA. And what an awesome start to my day lol. Gojiras musicianship has always been off the charts. I love listening to them when I'm driving cuz it keeps my mind occupied.plus I get to headbang alittle bit lol. Or as Mrs Caldwell would say get bounced out of your seat lol. I know times are tuff with this virus crap goin on but definitely keep your family safe man. Stay true 🤘 and Rock On Mr and Mrs Caldwell. I don't know if to late but Jinjer just dropped a live video of Pit Of Consciousness.
Awesome reaction guys! I'd highly recommend "Esoteric Surgery", "Born in Winter", "Toxic Garbage Island (live)", and "The Shooting Star (live in studio)"!
Best reaction channel! So honest and done with passion. You should react to Gojira’s show on their yt channel, i know it would be long but its a damn worth ride!
You two are some of my most favourite people to watch. I love the energy you both have and the appreciation of incredible musicianship. I wish I could be there with you guys when you see them live. It will be an experience you’ll never forget. Please listen to Gojira, From The Sky live at Garrorock. I know I’ve said this before, but Mario’s cymbal work during the breakdown is poetry. You must focus on him during that. It’s an incredible song. Gojira are LIFE!!!
Dylan Caldwell please do a video of the gig and what you thought of it, when you get to see them. I’ve seen gojira love a number of times now and they still blow me away. Back in 2018, at a festival here in the uk, a friend who had never seen them before, watched them. He said out of the hundreds of bands he’s seen live, they were without a doubt, the very best. It warmed my heart 😂
Gojira...every single song is insane. Best thing to happen to metal. You guys gotta cover the entire mars to Sirius album and the cell is insane. Their new album 2020-21 is called Magma from Uranus!..🔥🤘
loved this reaction. i cant wait until new deftones drops and i get to see you react to that stuff. wouldnt mind seeing a review of your favorite deftones songs to date.
WOOOOOOO!!!!! Ocean Planet next!! check out those lyrics next times you listen to this! \M/ the song surrounds around the perception of the wilderness in respect to all the shit the Earth is going through from people taking nature for granted and not valueing their life here.
I don't get how people don't understand the euphoria that this song, and this band and heck, this genre, brings to the body and soul. Tou guys get it. Kudos
I have Seen them 3 times have 3 tattoo and respect s dedicated to them, have the bassist and guitarist’s* ( who I met a two of there shows and he was a genital man threw and threw) *pics and also a fire in my depths for these guys. Helped me threw a lot of hard ass times. It’s refreshing to see a lovely couple revealing in good taste, my tastes. Peace out and rock on. Keep going lad and la’dete Yous have reached me with your kind warmth and intrigue witch is special in this day and age I Hale from the highlands of Scotland and raise a dram too not only our metal compadres but, you two and Mother Nature! Gojira are against the abuse of our planet and oblivious that take for granted. To save our oceans our Forrest’s mountain top too a singal mole hill they all matter. Check out From Mars/ leading into To serious (Straight shoot) Feel the emotion let traction take hold and breath in all it has too offer Respec y’all not a type-oh here come the grammar police Hyessss love your self, the right music for you and the people your tribe needs will undoubtedly follow suit
It b worth seein yalls reaction seein Gojira live..my ole lady said see enjoyed watching me react to the band in concert more than watching them I lost it brace yourselves when u get to see them live
A band that certainly shows influences of Gojira is Fit For An Autopsy, I recommend that you check out the song "Black Mammoth". I also noticed that you haven't checked out any Devin Townsend on the channel yet, so I would highly recommend you to check out the live performance at the Royal Albert Hall of "Deadhead" as well some time. Cheers mate!
Yesss I knew you'd enjoy this one! It still blows me away every time I hear it. Your guys' reaction was so fun to watch, glad you enjoyed it! Unfortunately, there's no video of this song live :( They only played it a few times in 2006 or something and none of it is documented
On my way to the vision-come-true I enter a galaxy rising And I land on this brown and green old place Whose wild is giant trees Trees so strong that they never can fall Four suns alight in silver-grey sky Wild river flows with rage alive Lions of fire approach me Carved by the wind and the fall of water From the treetops, I can see the end of a time Living respectful, low your axe And learn from the trees Second dawn meet the sylvanlings Passageways into the deep Invitations to explore the forest Lions gales and chambers A tree trunk larger than a mountain Stands on the top of this hill made of rock and mist Living respectful, low your axe And learn from the trees Henceforth, I will be always there Planet Earth will overcome Men destroyed, scorned and killed their lives But the world is on her way
Congrats on being the first reacting to this underrated gem from FMTS. Now, i really want you to do Opeth- Demon Of The Fall (live at the roundhouse tapes) Demon Of The fall is one of those just absolutely magical songs. Every opeth song is, but that one is It's truly special. From its placement in the concept album My Arms Your Hearse and is basically about the protagonist murdering his unfaithful girlfriend until he realizes what he has done It's really short for an Opeth song too, being only 6 minutes long. So it's accessible too. And it's definitely one of the most brutal songs i've heard. It's majestic. The last 2 minutes of the song are simply soulcrushing. I really, Really want you to hear this song. I promise you won't be dissapointed
So intense man ! Erica totally nailed it " organized chaos " they are so sick bro . That drummer omg ,the whole band is phenomenal. Great video, great reaction thanks Dylan and Erica
I love this song so much, but same as you, I really wish the last part didn't fade out for at least a minute. That would've been great, but still an awesome song.
Man your reaction to the ending perfectly encapsulated how I felt my first time hearing this song hah "Wait why tf are they fading out at the start of one of the most brutal riffs on the album?"
Long time sub here. I've always liked your videos especially with the 2 of you. Y'all trip me out man lol. If you haven't already, I would love to see you guys check out another song from this same album. Where Dragons Dwell live from Hellfest 2013 is pretty phenomenal. Gojira's live shit is just amazing anyways. They don't f#@$ around. Oh yeah and the ending to this track y'all just did is nuts.
Please please do “Ocean Planet” of this album. Album version or “Live in Rio”. It’s so melodic. One of their most underrated songs ever. You’ll love it man. Hope all is well with you and yours ❤️🤙🏼
Great reaction btw, i agree with what your wife said at the end. It's why i fell in love with this song more than flying wales. I heard it the first time while listening to FMTS all the way through. World To Come would be next song on this album , consider checking out that one. And please please OPETH- Demon Of The fall (live at roundhouse tapes) absolute must i know you will love it And OPETH- the moor ( studio version, if you like it you should listen to Still Life in its entirety to get the context, it's a concept album)
Hey it's me again lol. Ikeep goin back to the Spirit Box reactions and I really think you should check out some more of them. If you get a chance of course. Ok thank you for your time again. Stay true 🤘
