Gojira - Silvera (cutted version) - Live 16/06/2016 on french television (hosted by Yann Barthès) New album Magma is out. This is their first appearance on a tv show \m/
+LooWaltis Hardly. Sure; it's good for their exposure but that's it. If they wanted Silvera to be 2 minutes long; they'd release it as a 2 minute song. it's like telling the band; here: you're worth THIS much *gives band 2 minutes to perform an already short song*
Most people who watch this kind of shows aren't into metal at all. The goal is to make them discover it, not to force them into it (which would likely make them hate it more than anything else). Now I get your point, but please be happy with what happened, it's already very cool 😃
it was not on the same show. In this show, sometimes, a band (metal or not) have one or two minutes to play. it is not really a talkshow but a show who reacts on actuality like Last Week Tonight with John Oliver
Metallica has put out pathetic music since 1990....they are the biggest just like Mcdonalds sells the most burgers so they MUST be the best, huh? nope, the masses like stupid shit....
*Silvera* Quit moaning about fate and change Stand up on your feet and rise With every fall you get the pain, you learn the lesson Start now, open your eyes Dead bodies falling from the sky We are the ape with the vision of the killing A rain of shame that fills the mines No other blood in me but mine Time to open your eyes to this genocide When you clear your mind, you see it all You're receiving the gold of a better life When you change yourself, you change the world Your heart is pounding in the brain As they drag you naked in the mud A devil's dancing in the rain How could you fall so low? No, we will never let go Let us watch them die Time to open your eyes to this genocide When you clear your mind, you see it all You're receiving the gold of a better life When you change yourself, you change the world *“Silvera” is about societal conformity, the anguish that those who do conform and require others to conform both feel and cause, and the suicides of those who don’t conform to societal standards.*
