@@Embers_YT Well, to be fair. Joe has a very musical way of screaming. Which uplifts their melodic riffs. He’s still belting aggressively; but in recent years he has been improving his vocals a lot. He’s been doing this since “From Mars to Sirius.”

The stars are Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka. Giza Pyramids were built with the same combination with those three stars. Those stars are in the Orion Constellation. And the brightest star in the Orion Constellation(and the brightest star in our sky): Sirius! Edit: Ooops! Appearently Sirius is in Canis Majoris, I messed up. Sphinx is one of the tracks I listen the most from Fortitude...I was positively surprised to hear there will be a video and I cannot wait to watch it. I was hoping for a video for Into the Storm...seeing Gojira perform on a beach with stormy weather, heavy rain, everything black and white...losing their shirts into the storm 😫😉

Saw these guys last Friday in Nashville and thought it was one of my favorite shows I have ever seen. Was lucky enough to stand up front at stage right with Christian and it was a pleasure to see how happy he looked while he was doing his thing. Great band, great show. These guys are a class act all the way and 10 out of 10 live. Near perfect.

As an American I want to say this is the kind of quality missing in alot of American music today, not just metal. These guys have real talent, and are creating something interesting and cool, and the visuals of the video, to me with my humble opinion, are equally artistic and interesting. They are not relying on shock value of obscene lyrics or images to sell tickets, they are authentic while creating something that resonates on a deeper level with people, and that's what sets them apart as a truly great band.

Trna - Istok Full of Hell - Garden of burning apparitions Archspire - Bleed The Future Cult of Luna - The Raging River Portal - Avow Fear Factory - Agression Continuum Don't get me wrong, you guys should listen to whatever you want. I'm not saying gojira is bad or that you shouldn't like them or anything like that. Just don't get what they are doing so much better than other bands. They feel a bit uninspired on this record for me, much like Arch Enemy at some point. While they are amazing musicians, I feel they stayed within a formula, just like Gojira. Having said that, the guys from Gojira are amazing for launching their project Amazonia, concurrently with this release. That is just going an extra mile.

Thank you for putting up the lyrics. This song has had it's hooks in me for months. While I love my metal I'm not otherwise into Gojira, but the pairing of the song with the video imagery as well as the actual theme and lyrics make for something epic and eternal.

People say Gojira sound like Tool and Morbid angel but they never care to mention the fact that Gojira doesn't stick to any restrictions in their music they don't write in some specific abc order with repeating choruses in between (I could count with my 2 hands how many songs of theirs have choruses and they also deliver us things like what they did in Death Of Me, Dawn, Indians, The Link, Flying Whales, Wolf Down The Earth, Space Time, Remembrance, Love, This Emptiness, Le enfant Sauvage, The Gift of Guilt etc etc In the Wilderness so what they did with these songs is they changed shit up and did incredible shit.. they made the heaviest "diving into the heavy" sections I've ever heard and forget the heavy scale or the speed scale they win with what they do as a whole, every scale on the spectrum. 10/10 music

I've always found Gojira's music to have the same feel as an album by Devin Townsend called Ocean Machine. The music "feels alive", organic. It must be related to production, who knows, but that's how I perceive it.

I'm so happy that Gojira is one of the few bands which really put effort into making a videoclip, with them included. Instead of making a lyric music video. I got a huge FMTS vibes, when i´m listening this song. It was the first album of Gojira what i heard about 10 years ago. Their sound has changed a little but they´re still great!

@@Embers_YT this is arguably their least heavy album, while it's definitely more digestible. It's by no mean what many of their original audience came for. It's perfectly fine not to be into the more technical side of death metal. But at the end of the day, that's what they used to be, and that's what a few of us remeber them as.

@@jordandinelt76 i was never really a gojira fan honestly. when suddenly a few months ago i saw they came out with something new i clicked and got addicted, but this is really the only album i can listen to casually. it's all about preference, and metal is so diverse and different sounding you can like a song / album from a band and hate the rest of their stuff

These boys know about the Orion Correlation! Gaddam what an amazingly well written and recorded song. Best one on the album! Really speaks to my soul.
