Imagine the entire crowd singing this together at the beginning of their show like Metallica uses the ecstasy of gold. Dying to see them live again.

Can we all take a moment to acknowledge Jean-michel as the unsung hero of this album? His bass fills add so much depth to every song they've released thus far

They released half of the álbum before the official release. They are more anxious than us

Fuck me, first we had choruses, then cleans and now The Chant gifts us a guitar solo? What is this madness? I'm going to be humming this chant all bloody day now!

In such sad and depressing times, GOJIRA gives you hope and fills your heart with life.

A band that's kept the same line up for 20 years, while evolving their sound, is awesome. One of the best bands of all time and one of my favorites.

When you experiment in your sound and it ACTUALLY works

Guitar solos? Cowbell? Incredible soft vocals? This song feels like a dream.

That guitar solo is making me question reality. Do whales even fly? Are whales even real? Is Joe really angry? Is LaBadie really happy? Is Mario really evil? Does Boing really boing?

Soft vocals? Guitar solo? Major key? No breakdown? Still slaps!

Probably the most peaceful track they've ever released, it soothes the soul and helps me relax 😊

They are gonna release the whole album in singles before it comes out, not that I can complain about that

I am at peace knowing Gojira is just doing what they like to do. This doesn't remotely sound like commercial music, it's more accessible but not more commercial. Everyone seems to forget Gojira had softer songs on every single one of their albums, and as they evolve, they'll keep working towards newer sounds. No one can deny songs like Into the Storm or Amazonia weren't some great songs

This is a great example of how vocalists can sing great. And still make heavy screaming vocals without damage. That harmony in Joe's voice is great.

I'm glad that they're opening the door a bit stylistically and they're breaking out of the 'everything has to be violently heavy' trap that a lot of bands fall into. Honestly it's nice to see a band recognise their own unique sound and take it in a direction that isn't defined by what people expect from them. Variety is the spice of life you know?

I can't compare this, or Gojira in general, to anything. It's just so much better than everything. The 30th of April will be a good day for humanity

Literally every song on this album sounds different, we have crazy pulls offs with Another World, a harmonic breakdown in BFoT, boing boing, crazy polyrhythms in Into The Storm and now we have guitar solos? This shit is fucking great, I'm tired of albums that have songs that all sound the same.

hearing joe singing is something beautiful

I've been going through a really rough patch in my life recently and this song could not have come to me at a better time. It made me cry the first few times I listened, but has helped give me the strength and courage to keep moving and do better. Thank you so much Gojira!

Literally every single experiment they took with this didn't feel off and overall this song is a very brave and successful effort

Fantastic. Joe said that whereas Magma was dealing with loss, Fortitude was made with a feeling of joy. This song reverberates with it. I love looking at every song on this album through this lens.

I am beyond stoned right now, and this is just clicking with me. I love this band so much. They offer every flavor of metal you could want, from the heaviest to the lightest, the saddest to the happiest, the most simple to the most complex. This song doesn't have a shred of br00tal to it, but the fact that they still can perform songs like Amazonia and then give us gems like this... it's the best thing ever. This band is one of the best.

I wasn't expecting this. You guys, you're the balanced mix of everything about art and humanity. As a literature student, I have written many lyrics of you in my favorite poem notebook. To me, we have been feeding on your songs just like a hummingbird feeds on diverse nectars. Go on Gojira, go on!
