As much as I love metal a la pantera, LOG, machine head, sepultura, soulfly...... there is an element of raw beauty to Gojira that no other metal band comes near. Thanks for a great reaction!

I have discovered Gojira live at the Heavy Mtl a few years ago. I sat on a bute, chatting all afternoon and wasn't paying much attention to the bands.. but the sound of Gojira hit me and I had to see them from close by. I ended up facing this wall of speaker.. and then my soul got pushed by waves of sound. I felt like if my whole biorythm was set on the drum.. it was a whole new experience, the most powerful and beautiful thing I heard.. They got me to the core and their music gives me shivers and tears easily.

Gojira is redifine modern metal song. When i first listen to them around around 2014 lefant sauvage at tv. I blown away by this band. Since then i been a hardcore fans. Its shame they never played at malaysia.

there's too many songs to recommend, but if you want a song that has a "crush your skull and blow your face off" riff, it just has to be Yama's Messengers. you'll know within the first minute what i mean. it's brain melting. there are obviously so many other good songs, but that riff...fuck. it's so funky and heavy you might cream your pants. bring a change of underwear and get ready to put your "o" face on for us all. There isn't a live version on here that I'm aware of so it's just a studio version, static image of the album cover.
