@@jorgerios5153He lost Raikiri. He could no longer use it safely without the Sharingan. He developed Purple Lightning it’s basically a fusion of all of Sasuke’s Chidori variants. He can use it like a force field of energy that shocks those within a certain range,(Chidori Stream) he can shoot it like projectile (Chidori Senbon/Chidori Spear), and he can use it the way Chidori is normally used. (normal Chidori variant) Its far more powerful than the typical Chidori, or Raikiri. During his first use of Purple Lightning I believe he caused it to rain, and it was so powerful he passed out. Mind you very few ninjutsu can cause mass destruction or manipulate the weather.

Kishimoto took a lot of inspiration from togashi’s work there is bound to be a lot of similarities. He’s even stated that he loved yu yu hakusho and hiei was his inspiration for sasuke and kurama was a nod to the show. He could have also been inpired from the scarlet eyes.
