So as far as I can tell, the only time scru showed he didn't like stuff in this song is when dps started throwing out gun bars. Scru's said multiple times in the past he doesnt like gun bars anymore and as far as i know Gojo doesn't use guns. So im not sure where the "he doesnt like dps being in character" comes from lol. He also said that he liked certain bars and the flow multiple times in the video.

When scru reacted to nerdcore when it was strictly about the character and they made gun bars he loved them so what changed, for example he went crazy over shwabadis opps duck the cannon like old dragon ball movies bar

@septimusheap925 his beef with 954 I watched him for 3 or 4 years or so and even was there for the beef, but after it's like a complete flip of how he used to enjoy all of it. Just look at any Dps reaction with gun bars back then (He used to LOVE the gun bars since he didn't have to watch the anime to get the bars) and them now. Hell the Toji song from DPS he went on a like 2 minute rant about how he doesn't like it. He doesn't like Nerdcore anymore 🤷♂️

Yo scru, I think you’d fuck with this song a lot more if you were familiar with JJK, I saw in one reaction you mentioned you needed to watch JJK, you definitely do. I read the manga on my big nerd shit so I’m super locked in with the references, and every single one in this song was an absolute banger, “we don’t see eye to eye because if you look into mine then you gonna die today” is not only just a flames on its own but as a Gojo reference it’s also 100% true. His eyes are so powerful that he wears a blindfold to prevent taxing his brain with how much information he takes in. The six eyes literally divine and it’s one of his powers. If he shows his eyes it’s because he doesn’t intend for you to survive the next couple seconds. To put it in perspective and not spoil anything too bad but let’s just say the only ways Gojo have ever been killed is by cutting through infinity first. He’s one of those characters that can talk as crazy as he wants and no one but another mf with the same energy can check him.

I know im very late but finally comment that is actually reasonable. I find it so stupid that people are pushing Scru out of nerdcore when he seems like he just wants to push the beef he had behind him and keep reacting some good music. on the other hand, i whole heartedly agree that scru just doesn't have the same energy that he used to have. He recently went back and listened to another DPS song and all the comments are just trying to push him away and I just find to be so idiotic that someone can't try and mend a relationship that was once broken
I actually appreciate Scru clarifying why the gun bars hit different compared to the spongebob stuff (everyone was referencing that last reaction). He still was talking about the schemes, chorus, etc. Solid reaction

This song is a type of rap that doesn't do it for me. I'm new to appreciating rap and I just don't get this style yet, to the point that it kinda sounds bad. To the people that like this style, what should I be doing to appreciate it? I do prefer the second verse over the first
If you really want to appreciate this style for what it is you should watch or read what these songs are based off of because that opens a entire new meaning to most of these bars and you get the chance to find something new you might enjoy.
