The reason why all JJK villains are terrifying is because they're not like boss in video game where they just wait for the protagonist to defeat them. (like in most anime) All of them are constantly grinding for their knowledge, skill and strength, and Sukuna is the one grinding the hardest.

Sukuna wasn’t late due to gojo hitting him first. It was cause gojo damaged him and he had to heal first before expanding his domain and gojo didn’t so he was slightly faster cause of it

Let's be honest though , Gojo dying by domain amplification or domain expansion isn't gonna hit hard as him dying while his infinity is on , because dying while his infinity is on means he truly got defeated and surpassed in everyway.

It's only complicated because we don't know the full extent of OG Sukuna's abilities yet, and for that we don't know how he woulda been able to adapt to Gojo's Infinity, if that was even possible at all without the Ten Shadows tech.

The thing that Sukuna needed megumi to do wasnt surpassing infinity. He solely wanted Megumi to be a vessel that could handle his soul without dying and giving him a viable way to exit itadoris cage. He did not learn about adaption until after that scene and he decided to use it out of convenience

It wasn't really Sukuna vs Gojo. It was Ten Shadows vs Six Eyes + Infinity. Gojo said it was draw before BUT obviously Ten Shadows + Sukuna > Six Eyes + Infinity. Heian Sukuna vs Six Eyes + Infinity is a completely different story, it could go either way, we don't really know the full extent of Sukuna's abilities ATM.

One of the other issue to consider is that Sukuna has already seen all of Gojos abilities prior to the fight, so it’s easier for him to win just due to preparation, which he did by obtaining ten shadows. Gojo didn’t really know sht about Sukunas ability and how intelligent he was. Sukuna just had way more data on Gojo to counter him easily and power is not the only thing that matters in jjk.

If the show had dragon ball z logic heian sukuna would obliterate gojo but since it’s a series based on strategy I actually think gojo has a better shot than people realize sukuna used a technical build strictly used to counter gojo so it’s no surprise how gojo lost sukuna is smart af he knew this from the start meanwhile gojo didn’t really get the same amount of prep that sukuna got we all know sukuna has been prepping since the first ass whooping he received by gojo when he only had 1 finger it’s true sukuna can apply more pressure but I believe that would honestly make gojo improve his abilities throughout the fight gojo gets better through pressure as we saw against toji he’s able to elevate when he struggles cause gojo himself didn’t peak yet with his abilities he can always go further then again the same applies to sukuna too

The difference between them isn't or shouldn't actually be that high. Firstly, their Domains, they were equally matched and I believe that happened not because Sukuna held back the power of his Domain but because of how their Domains work, Sukuna's Domain has an Open Barrier which gives it more refinement but Gojo's Domain required only 1 hand sign showing greater proficiency. Sukuna had the upperhand during the 3rd Domain clash but him not going all out made sense, Sukuna insulted Gojo but he didn't underestimate him, since he realized that Gojo could keep up with him even when he was being slashed, had Sukuna gone all out there was a risk that Gojo could have countered with RCT and he could have also used Red or Blue. When Gojo's Domain hit he won there but Sukuna survived and when Gojo suffered brain damage Sukuna insulted him, Sukuna then insulted and then he too suffered brain damage and important thing to notice is that Sukuna expected to win there and that brain damage was out of nowhere. When there Domains were compromised Gojo had the upper hand and even if Sukuna had gone all out using 'His Techniques' and not Megumi's then he would have lost their as Adapting to Limitless would had been impossible without Mahoraga. Sukuna used Mahoraga and Agito and adapted. From there it was a matter of Time and Patience, If Hollow Purple Unlimited was detonated before Mahoraga coukd have adapted or before Sukuna could get his blue print Sukuna would had lost. Their battle was not that simple. Even if Heian Era Sukuna was the one that fought Gojo the battle would not be that simple. They are relative enough to the point where Gojo's attacks (Purple in particular) are capable of killing Sukuna or fataly wounding him and if the battle is happening outside the Domain then Gojo would have the advantage but inside Sukuna has greater advantages.

The most important part of their fight was the domain clashes, Sukuna could have ended the fight right there, but he prolonged it and sustained damage in order for Mahoraga to start adapting so he could learn from it, it was a whim. Gojo even wonders why Sukuna is going the hard route to deal with with during this stage. Then the fight got a bit out of hand for Sukuna after that, but in the end, everything turned out alright for him. That's why saying he didn't go all out and that even without the ten shadows technique he couldn't have won isn't incompatible with everything we saw in the fight, including the moment Sukuna got nervous. The whole situation was something Sukuna allowed to happen because he didn't end the fight quickly. Gojo realised that, while he was taking it wxtremely seriously, as the fight of his life, Sukuna took the liberty to experiment, for him it wasn't such a big deal, just another stone in his path. On top of that, Sukuna did not posses his body, which has been stated to be a clear advantage in battle having four arms and two mouths. And we're not even sure if the corpse Sukuna consumed was worth that final finger. We also haven't seen Sukuna using his fire technique nor has it been revealed to us what the deal with that is and what other tools he might have, after the fight we still knew exactly the same about him. He also did not have the two weapons he had then. Once you start taking all these things into consideration you can understand why Sukuna was called the strongest even when sorcerers who were just like Gojo (with the six eyes and the limitless technique) also existed in the past. Gojo was like a kid who was given a huge gun, Sukuna is a genius among geniuses at understanding cursed energy and without seeing his full power yet he's already got a massive power up (no defense works against his slashes), and that's terrifying.

Gojo would get packed up quicker w. Sukuna in Heian form but: 1.Sukuna went into the fight w. The intention of learning how to bypass infinity. Since 6-Eyes comes around every few centuries, this wouldn't be the last time he fought a 6E user. 2. He had a full heal that he could use at any moment. Kashimo in his amber form was fast enough to hit Meguna insofar as he could not block. After transforming back to his original body, he was blitzing Kashimo. To me, this showed an increase in speed and power. Every aspect of the fight between Gojo and Sukuna changes in Heian form. To whatever extent that Gojo is better H2H combat that Sukuna, it could go from Gojo being slightly better to Sukuna being better. Both of these are bad for our boy. If Sukuna is better, it's really GG after domain clash 1. In the domain battle, their domains were equal and only the open domain won the clash for Meguna. I don't Gojos sure hit would cancel out Sukuna's. Given the extra refinement of his domain, he would just outright win the tug of war. The slashes would be a little stronger and the Buff that the domain confers to Sukuna would have Gojo napping after Clash 1 or 2.

See, the problem is that people are simply plopping Heian Era Sukuna in the Meguna v Gojo fight, and assuming the same instances would happen. Sukuna can chant and use Jujutsu, while fighting. I don’t think Gojo gets out of the Domain Battle phase, let alone damage Sukuna enough to hit him with UV. I’m not downplaying Gojo, but Sukuna is simply bred for fighting.

Sukuna's most powerful domain would be if he uses all four arms to cast a stronger version of "ms" and he could also make binding vows to make it even more powerful like decreasing domain range to increase power or even probably the one that he didn't use in the manga is turning of dismantle in his domain to boost cleave, since dismantle targets inanimate objects and cleave targets curse energy which both gojo and his domain have

Domain expansion work on Gojo tho. I mean if we take heian era Sukuna we can assume that we take Gojo who did not have experienced the prison realm. So that means Gojo won't know how to shrink his domain. But even if we assume Gojo can pull it off , don't forget their sure hit effect within the domain cancel each other. It was written black on white. Also during the second clash Sukuna desactivated his sure hit effect so that he can destroy more easily Gojo domain from the outside and he did by staying close of Gojo in order to avoid the sure hit effect. So I don't know how you read this domain battle to assume without Megumi Sukuna lose the domain battle but it's just wrong.

I think some things were incorrect by Outhlaw and have to push my own agenda now xd. Sukunas sure hit protected everything but Megumis soul in the domain, which he chose himself not to protect, so Sukuna would win in the domain clashes simple as that. Sukuna also played it risky, even Gojo pointed it out during the second domain clash, he took some hits on purpose so Mahoraga could adapt. A Hein Sukuna would try harder to dodge, would not be dominated in H2H because he has 2 extra arms, and would simply be able to beat Gojo in the domain clashes, once Gojos overexerts himself. I am a Gojo fan too and even I know he never stood a chance...

You have to look at the authors intent when looking at a hypothetical like this. Gege through Gojo is telling us that Sukuna is the more talented sorcerer and even goes as far as saying that even without the 10 S Sukuna would have won. Sukuna’s entire plan revolved around using Mahoraga as a template to get past infinity, if he didn’t have Mahoraga in his arsenal he would have completely changed how he approached the fight. We have been told and shown time and again just how much of a genius Sukuna is when it comes to Jujutsu, he would have come into the fight with a plan. Heian Sukuna still has DE and DA to bypass infinity, he might have based his plan around his domain if he didn’t have Maho. Gojo would struggle against a 4 Armed Sukuna inside his domain with his cursed tools as well as his still hidden cursed technique all while getting ripped apart by the the sure hit attack. All that paired with the fact that Gege is telling us that Sukuna is the better sorcerer makes me believe that he’d have beaten Gojo even without 10S.

Heian era sukuna could also use his other techniques like the fire arrow and the kamutoke against gojo after the first DE win to pressure him more, he could win even faster

HEAIN ERA SUKUNA FOLDS GOJO EASILY 1. Chants boost C&D to 120% which means stronger surehit for MS thus breaking UV before 3min 9s. If chants boost C&D then by default C&D in MS would be stronger as MS would grant this boosted C&D a surehit effect. 2. If sukuna cancel out gojo surehit then use Fire arrow, he would break UV on the inside( mahoraga did it with pure physical strength in Chap 229) and it wouldn't last the 3min 9s. Confirming what gojo said about breaking his from the inside. 3. Chap 228 Gojo inner thoughts basically let us know he only destroyed MS within 3min 9s cuz sukuna purposely took the riskier/ longer option and if sukuna didn't gojo wouldn't break MS in 3min 9s. 4. Chap 230 let us know sukuna turn off DA on purpose so he was purposefully taking damage. If it was heian sukuna with no 10s, he would never turn off DA and with stronger physical stats, he would tank all damage which means gojo wouldn't be able to break MS within 3min 9s by hurting sukuna within the domain. 5. Gojo can't dodge C&D. 1. Chap 224 shows us gojo wasn't able to dodge or react to C&D despite been distance away from sukuna, bro was so surprized to see the building cut behind him. 2. Chap 234 Despite facing mahoraga direction he couldn't predict, dodge or react to the slash. 6. Heian sukuna with DA would tank all of gojo attacks( blue punch, purple, red etc) and why? cuz heain sukuna scale to his dismantle which comes from his better base & CE reinforcement as sukuna speed, defence, strenght scale together cuz there from CE reinforcement not a CT like gojo or kashimo. Chap 239 sukuna is far physically stronger. 7.1 Gojo wouldn't survive chanted C&D or fire arrow at same time against heain sukuna. why? simple cuz he already use MAX OUTPUT RCT to minimize normal MS & he still needed SD to buy time to heal & even that still wasn't a good option so he used 2nd SD to heal CT instead( used FB later instead). 7.2 If heian sukuna win 1st DE clash and hit gojo with chanted C&D & fire arrow at sametime gojo rct would be overwelm and FB or SD would be eatten up thus no healing of CT or proper healing of body thus = dead gojo after a few or less mins. 8. Heian sukuna would win all DE clash with chanted C&D or use firearrow to destroy UV on inside. Thus gojo would have no DE, fry brain which means like chap 230 expect UV wouldn't hit sukuna & MS would let off killing gojo as rct lowered mean death to MS. Gojo & sukuna RCT was equally dogshit low this part in the fight, as stated in manga gojo can't rct forever even with 6eyes. 9. also gojo fans just because kashimo was warned by sukuna doesn't mean anything as you must scale to or similar slash in speed to dodge it even if you was warned cuz even if sukuna warned yuta, he is not dodging that. A 20f sukuna firearrow would scale to purple in DC base on gojo's purple and 15f sukuna firearrow showings/ feats. 10. UV targets everything within is domain while MS targets everything EXCEPT SUKUNA HIMSELF and when 2 Domain of equal strenght clash the SUREHITS ARE CANCELLED BEWTEEN USERS( so users aren't affected by each other surehit) but because MS targets everything except sukuna means the only place infinity void surehit wasn't cancel out was at megumi soul and sukuna soul would be safe cuz he's the caster of the DE not megumi just like how gojo is the one that cast UV so he isn't affected by it along with anything that touching him even if UV targets everything including gojo himself. Since SUREHIT IS CANCEL OUT BETWEEN USERS GOJO WOULDN'T BE AFFECTED BY MS AND SUKUNA WOULDN'T BE AFFECTED BY UV AS thier both casters of the surehits that cancel out each other. this is also why sukuna decided to touch gojo in the 2nd clash cuz he didn't want to be affected by UV ,so if megumi really was protecting sukuna soul why would sukuna need to use DA to touch gojo( when he clearly didn't do that in 1st domain clash) or use DE, when he could simply walk in UV like normal since by gojotard logic megumi would be the one taking UV for him???????? Makes no sense and the damage sukuna got in chap wasn't from megumi but him getting hit UV for 0.1s and after his domain was destroyed inside UV experiencing UV for 10seconds.

Having just reread Sukuna v Gojo up to the Arrival of Miguel, it is so obvious that Sukuna was plotting the whole time. Its clear he had a goal other than defeating Gojo. His attitude, the way he fights. He wanted something more. And without that, he wouldve done handled Gojo much faster than he did in Megumi

He completely misread what Gojo meant by "he wasnt giving his all". Gojo literally has the ability to sense the fact Sukuna held back due to 6 eyes. Sukuna saw a chance to use Megumi as a strong vessel that wouldn't imprison him like Yuji, and even explains later in the fight he was taking hits so mahoraga would adapt faster. The whole fight with Gojo was set up so he could get yet another powerup that ignores defense Thematically, Gojo was also bound to lose, as we can see in the Kashimo fight. Gojo and Kashimo are both people that had positive but also negative feelings associated with being the strongest due to no one being their equal. Sukuna on the other hand had always embraced things as they are and viewed his relation to others as a special kind of thing rather than a burden. Gojo realised that as well, and I think that brought him back in contact with Geto and Nanami in the afterlife, finally having his infinity pierced and thus the untouchable barrier between him and others erased. Gojo dying is a positive revalation for his character, and Sukuna was always going to win, as the stronger, more developed mindset tends to do in JJK. Sukuna takes risks, and likes putting himself in situations where he can get max utility out of the fight, whereas Gojo's ability to ignore most danger and play it relatively safe is the inverse of that. As a last thing, Sukuna may not have the 6 eyes, but his overall analytical ability has always been a major strength. It's not like Gojo was bad or he was invalidated, Sukuna honoured him at the end for a reason, because he surprised Sukuna with every trick and thing he could come up with, which is impressive. Sukuna held off on reincarnating, because he could use Megumi to become even stronger, since that spatial cleave is just part of his arsenal now. Gojo only used some techniques when he felt it was necessary to learn them for this fight, while Sukuna is always hungry, wanting to savor every bit of a fight. He was bound to win, and I believe it was well-written

The problem is that we are taking the same exact scenarios from the fight to determining how the fight would go, I’m 1m% sure that Sukuna wouldn’t even try to mess around with Gojos domain without Megumi, why would he take the risk of getting his brain fried for no reason, and if Gojo was getting overwhelmed he’d just teleport to create distance, that fight would’ve actually been INSANE TOO BRO

Sukuna literally stated that his current( at the time Meguna) form was better for fighting sorcerrors. I think i will take Sukunas own words and actions over anything else. If his Heian form was much better he would have used it but he didnt for a reason.

Gojo at some point was fighting agaisnt six hands effectively I don’t think 4 hands on one person would be that much of a difference

What y’all not bringing up enough is the fact how much of an advantage 4 arms and 2 mouths are….meaning he could possibly amp EVERYTHING and pretty much instantly not to mention his hand 2 hand would have gon up due to that being his original form,not nerfing himself to just 2 arms

I do agree that Hein era Sukuna is a Beast compared to Meguna, but Gojo is always a bad match-up for everyone. No matter how broken one's technique may be, it has to meet the requirements of bypassing infinity otherwise it won't do much, but I do believe that Sukuna is smart enough to find a way to bypass infinity on his own but it will always be a question of can he find it in time. We know that Sukuna's 4 arms gives him an advantage of doing incantations to strengthen his technique while throwing hands but those incantations will most likely be helpful after he finds a way through infinity. Domain amplification which is used through punching won't be enough to kill Gojo. so what's left is Domain expansion and we saw that Gojo survived it without his technique but now things will be different as Sukuna would be using his techniques on top of that Domain and they may be good enough to kill Gojo. what this shows me is that Sukuna will have "window time/open window time" to kill Gojo and that is during the domain expansion. But If Gojo chooses to not engage in a domain battle things might work out differently.

adding to gojo being considered the strongest way kenjakus plan to keep gojo sealed for thousands of years in which sukuna could likely reach full power in that amount of time before 1000 years was even close to being done as well as sukunas plans with megumi and use of mahoraga he may have not originally known about him but when he did he knew he was the best choice too beat gojo

The biggest problem is how much Gojo could survive and tank Sukuna domain. Though i think their effect of domains would negate,but i think Sukuna might win due to his probably big reserve of his CE though that just for me and another problem is Sukuna even when he get hit by domain and.Still survive Sukuna could took advantage of his arms advance to enchant his technique forcing Gojo to pretty much use his reverse energy if he get hit by it or make Gojo hide to use strategy against him (Or third one is Gojo using his technique red or blue but with special enchant too to match Heian era Sukuna) About combat i see they would be at same level since Gojo was dominating Sukuna as they fought in close combat. So i could see maybe Gojo forced to use hollow purple as early as possible and his enchant to fight Sukunas way stronger technique now,or just use his domain to catch Sukuna in. They would be both equal expect enchant and maybe domain clash but very slight difference,and domain enchant. For me Sukuna win if fight goes waaaay Long,or Gojo if he use like hollow purple or other strategy for early battle.

This argument cant be decided until we see Sukuna's Hein CT. Granted, there has not been a single cursed technique in the series that has been able to bypass infinity (besides Takeba). If I was a betting man, I would assume this goes for Sukuna's spear-like cursed tool as well as I feel like the ISOH already has that concept covered. If he cant bypass Infinity with Mahoraga, then as Sukuna himself said, he would have to rely on Domain Amplification meaning he could only use Cursed Techniques applied to the domain (including RCT). As the fight showed, Gojo has a chance of surviving a sure-hit cleave and dismantle domain and even finding a loophole to surpass it while Sukuna cannot lose a domain clash once. The only thing Sukuna learned inside of the fight outside of Mahoraga were things he learned from Gojo. Meanwhile, Gojo was fighting figuratively and literally blind as Sukuna had used Ten Shadows to circumvent his Six Eyes during the beginning of the fight, after which he was dominant until the last panel and some jumping in between. Heres my theory on what Sukuna's CT is. We already know Sukuna's CT on paper is not that strong as we can gather from the little we know from Sukuna's past. He was not well-liked but in the golden-age of sorcery I would assume value is placed on one's innate talent i.e. their CT. That's why I believe Sukuna relied more on learnable techniques to overcome his weaknesses. One of those techniques being Black Box. With that being said, I believe Black Box is one of the strongest techniques available to sorcerers but unlike something like Cherry Blossom Emotion, its actually secret. We already know Sukuna has abilities that people like Gojo haven't even considered (Open domain, Cursed Fingers, etc etc). Additionally, with Kusakabe explaining in 230 that and I quote "The brain...Especially the part that relates with cursed technique...is a black box." We can go ahead and guess this is more than an one-off statement. So how does he do it? We know that after splitting himself into 20 fingers, he was consumed by various cursed spirits. Upon consumption, Sukuna's soul becomes intertwined with his vessel as does their Cursed Energy. CT is simply one's CE given shape. So, after undergoing this process, Sukuna would copy his vassals techniques and CT. Then, he would erase the "Black Box" part of his brain and replace it with the intel he acquired effectively giving him as many CT he can learn so long as he manipulated that Black Box. This is further supported by it being theorized you may be able to give humans CE by manipulating the brain via a Black Box by Nanami in chapter 20. Also by Sukuna's comment of the cursed spirit Jogo being unable to "understand." Even further, we know the two main differences between CS's and sorcerers are that sorcerers use of techniques and the difference in body and brain structure. Furthermore the fact Sukuna has only shown the ability to use one CT at a time save for the technique applied to his domain (another section of the brain entirely as pointed out by Sukuna). And most obviously, Sukuna saying he wont do something silly like reveal his Cursed Technique two seconds after using Black Box. So what do I think his CT actually is? This is gonna be a leap to bear with me. We know Sukuna is human, for the most part at least. Yet he is known as the King of Curses. Maybe he did not get his drastic boost in power that ascended him to godhood until a near death experience similar to Gojo. The only goal he has is living how he wants to. So putting that thought process into form, I would wager that it involves setting a "rule" into place that removes typical restrictions related to Jujutsu Sorcery. Perhaps something related to Black Flash as we have not seen Sukuna use a single one up until this point despite his raw skill. We know there's likely no chance it requires any active participation from somebody other than Sukuna. Thats all I got for now.

To the point about domain clash vs heian sukuna, it doesn't really matter if sukuna get's it of first. It's still gonna cancel out after gojo does it. The burden is on sukuna prevent gojo from opening first cause he loses immediately. Also if sukuna had four arms gojo would probably not box the same way. So it's unfair to predict what sukuna would've done in those situations since gojo's actions depended on sukuna at that point.

The problem is heian era sukuna it that he will have no info on gojo. The one gojo fought had a plan, info on him, a body to taoe damage for him, and another ct. Gojo said it could go either way had sukuna foght without 10s he never said anything about anything else. So when sukuna inevitably gets caught in a domain he will have no info on how to deal with it like meguna did. And i doubt fire arrow would work as meguna didntuse it and he didn't even attempt any chants while gojo was in his domain and running away so i dont think that would work

This debate should be put on hold honestly as we still don't know Sukuna's full abilities. (Talking about you fire arrow, Kamotoki and that spear) But in the anime we saw Sukuna pull out that fire arrow while MS is active and if you believe that is just an anime only. In the manga he pulled out that arrow right after a domain. In both cases it should be impossible because you cant use another CT while your domain is active (or was it while using another CT) and you can't immediately use your CT after a domain.

The only way Gojo could win against Sukuna is if he can beat his domain. And as of right now he has 0 ways to bypass it. Keep in mind it took Gojo going full power for 3 minutes against Sukuna only defending to deal enough damage for his domain to break If heian era Sukuna was in the picture there’s 0 chance he could win in hand to hand while inside his domain being shredded. Unless he hits a black flash, but even then I’d still give Sukuna the win

My biggest issue with this fight in general was the writing, not the outcome. Gojo’s death was so abrupt and while it’s clear he was going to lose from the beginning (simply because Gege wanted him gone) there were so many chances for Sakuna to smack him. Like in the beginning, where his DE beats Gojo, or if Gojo couldn’t suddenly use reverse curse to heal his brain(which seemed a little contrived) to reset his domain expansion. Or if gege wanted Sukuna to be using the Ten Shadows to make the fight easier or test out new abilities, instead of using it as a crutch, that could’ve been done too. Instead it seems like Sukuna is winning in the beginning, then is getting clapped, only to win at the end in one hit. It feels unearned just because everything is left so vague and things happen for shear shock value. Hopefully the anime can help make this battle seem more earned when it gets adapted in 50 yrs or whatever. But just from reading between the lines and knowing what Gege thinks about the characters, Heien era sakuna probably would bear Gojo, the text just doesn’t make that clear. But there’s no world where Gojo beats Sukuna simply due to the narrative.

I think the thing to point out is Full form Sukuna would have massively amped CT/Domain expansions that Gojo was already struggling with Minus the Megumi amps. For the same reason Kashimo got packed up, Sukuna is perfection.

I honestly think that Heian era Sukuna wins either on very high or extreme diff. Taking my info from Gojo's words. In my eyes it probably ends by using some binding vow. Gojo will probably be stil slightly better in martial arts but that could definitely be a streetch. If you know anything about hand to hand combat you have to agree that extra set of arms is literally a cheat code. And Sukuna's fighting style on close range xould literally be based on having 4 arms. Great view from your side man.

I feel like ppl put too much stock in Gojo being inferior in the Domain Battles. Like its true Gojo wouldn't be able to land UV's Sure-Hit against Heian Sukuna the same way he did against Meguna. BUT that's only under the assumption Gojo uses the exact same strategy of brute forcing his way through continuous Domain Clashes. In Ch 230, Sukuna attempts to close his Domain Barrier because he has the edge over Gojo and doesn't want Gojo escaping Malevolent Shrine's via Teleportation(Gojo Teleportation is also mentioned as a viable counter to Malevolent Shrine back in chapter 226). So essentially, if Sukuna continues using an Open Barrier, Gojo would have to change his Strategy to defense via teleportation. This prompts Sukuna to Close his Barrier instead. So both characters would just enagage in a normal Closed Domain clash.

My arguments are different, in my humble OPINION, gojo won against Sukuna heian. *Misunderstandings* 1. *Malevolent Shrine's chants and slashes*: There is no evidence in the manga that Sukuna needs to chant or use more hands to power up his domain's slashes. In chapter 259, when he uses his domain with only one hand, it is not observed that the effectiveness of the slashes changes. This implies that the use of more hands does not have a direct impact on the attack power or range of the Malevolent Shrine. In chapter 259, Sukuna was damaged, and proceeds to make a domain, Sukuna used a binding vow (in exchange for being able to invoke the domain with one hand, and other unknown things, I will be able to invoke the domain, but only for 99 seconds) even so, the power of the cuts of this incomplete domain, have exactly the same power, and I believe that Sukuna's malevolent shrine, the only limitation was the time at 99 seconds. If with one hand, its power and range is the same as with two hands, it suggests that it would be the same in the opposite direction. The chants serve to enhance the shrine imbued in Sukuna's body, but not the shrine imbued in the domain 2. *Sukuna's domain escape*: The idea that Sukuna could have killed Gojo with the thermobaric explosion is unrealistic. Kamino Fuga is not only a slow process, but it is also not guaranteed to be effective (Choso Block part of the explosion proving that Fuga is not part of the safe effect). If Sukuna had attempted Fuga, Gojo could have used a simple hold, and taken advantage to restore his *limitless* (infinite), escape and protect himself before Sukuna's attack was completed, or worse, attack Sukuna. This would have left Sukuna vulnerable, making the decision to use Fuga even riskier. (Choso Block Fuga blood) 3. *Weapons*: It is not relevant to consider the use of weapons in this fight, as doing so would weaken the argument in favor of Sukuna. The fact that Sukuna has to resort to weapons would indicate a lack of power, and if weapons are discussed in his case, it would also be necessary to review the possibility that Gojo could have used other weapons. In this sense, the fight becomes more about personal skills than external equipment. *Statements within the manga* 1. *GOJO SAID HE'S SORRY SUKUNA DIDN'T GIVE HIS BEST, OF COURSE! (margin of error, I don't have the interview in Japanese, only in Spanish and English) *Cheating and preparation of both* The thing is, that Utahime's only affected the first attack, which was more of a warning than an attack to kill, and it doesn't matter because Sukuna used the deer of the 10 shadows (from the ability of Megumi's stolen body) to heal his arm. The thing about Gojo's barrier reduction he obtained it through an empirical approach from experience APART and nothing to do with an observation of Sukuna. (Look at Yuta, when he took Gojo's body, the first thing he did was shrink the barrier to resist the malevolent shrine, Yuta's was by directly seeing the fight with Sukuna) While Sukuna obtained DIRECTLY and RELATED TO GOJO the way to counter the infinite void. Sukuna entered the fight with a series of advantages that Gojo did not have. Not only was he using Megumi's stolen techniques, such as the 10 shadows, but he also had prior knowledge of Gojo's *limitless*, something Gojo did not possess in relation to Sukuna. This allowed Sukuna to be able to plan his attacks more effectively, resulting in his victory. Furthermore, Sukuna was able to keep his distance and heal himself during the fight, taking advantage of abilities that were not originally his. Gojo, on the other hand, did not know that Sukuna's domain could be opened, which put him at a disadvantage from the start. If both had had the same level of preparation, the balance would have been different. Such as using the "basketball" domain from the start, or using "fallen petals" in the event that the MS destroyed the UV, making the cuts not deep, thus not being in real danger in the first place. *Logical Aspects* Gojo fought against a powered-up Sukuna, who not only had access to stolen skills, but also vast knowledge about Gojo's weaknesses. Despite all these advantages, Gojo came very close to winning. This shows that, had Sukuna not had those additional cheats, Gojo would likely have emerged victorious. While Sukuna, as soon as he saw some difficulty, canonically felt fear and yelled at Mahoraga to do something.

Sukuna already had ways to bypass infinity and in his hein form his cursed techniques are way stronger and his domain expands way faster hes stronger than gojo and has four arms so i assume hes better at hand to hand sukuna just wanted to gain a upgraded cleave technique that makes dealing with a 6 eyes user easier or why ever he wanted it if hein era sukuna and gojo fough there would be no contest imo i havent even mentioned how much more curse energy he'd have😂

(theory) what most people forget is that in case of these charecters , their experiences and knowledge matters a lot especually for sukuna. Even tho haein era sukuna (max power) would have most if not all feats higher and better than gojo, but the third DE migut be different bcz of sukuna's lack of sealing experience during that time. As explained in the manga, creating a barrier domain smaller than your own body size can kill the ones trapped inside the domain and it's generally impossible to do so. But gojo was able to do it bcz of his experience from prison realm. But how was sukuna able to survive that? Mkst probably bcz he had sealing experience too! However this haein era version would not have sealing experience at all and therefore very likely this sukuna would either perish or be heavvily damaged in this 3rd and 4th DEs. (against post sealing gojo)

The fact is that we know the limit of how much Gojo can expand his domain perday. In this case a total of 4 times until Sukuna's domain + the over usage of RCT fries his brain, if Gojo didn't manage to hit that UV 1 second before Sukuna expanded his domain it would be over there.

I find it incredibly bizarre that Sukuna needed to observe Mahoraga’s adaption to defeat the Infinity but somehow without it he’d just come to the same conclusion anyway? For a monumental final battle there so many moments that are weirdly ambiguous, I gotta reread it 😭

Gojo will comeback as two beings, one being Go and the other being Jo. The Go being will inhabit the torso and the other the legs allowing them to be in different places, Go could say “Nah I’d Win” while the Jo will sneak attack with a leg kick, his toes can also create infinite void. Its most OP ability will be when Go and Jo sticks together making final form GOJO so he can finally stand proud because he’s strong.

Also another way sukuna could win, from the recent episode we know sukuna can use black box and his flames while in domain, why didnt he use this against gojo? So mahoraga could adapt. Sukuna literally took extra precautions and risked it all just so he could learn more about mahoraga's adaption and use it to take down gojo and learn a new technique. If he just spammed flames in domain while gojo was trying to recover with rct the fight would be over

I personally think Sukuna only really won thanks to circumstance and outside help. While he is still very impressive, its clear to me that Gojo is the most powerful character to have ever existed in the verse. While I think Sukuna is more cunning and a better strategist, Gojo is just the strongest and would eventually win the fight (at least in a vacuum). That and to say Sukuna could only win through "cheating" shows that having an attitude like his won't make you stronger and will just lead to shortcuts in life without any significant progression, which is a better thematic message for the story. Just because you killed a guy, doesn't exactly mean you were on his level.

Heian era sukunas approach to the fight would be a lot different then megunas as he doesn’t have to wait for mahoraga to adapt and after the first domain clash he’d probably just fire arrow gojo tbh

1. Heian Era Sukuna having 2 more arms won't be more pressure when Gojo 1 v 3 and was fine. 2. Having chants to amplify Dismantle & Cleave won't be a problem because Sukuna never had an issue cutting through Gojo, his issue was reaching him, which a chant won't enable. 3. Fire Arrow is weaker than Dismantle & Cleave otherwise he would've used that like he did against Mahoraga. 4. His Cursed Tool would be useless because of never reach Gojo, he always has Infinity running.

I think sukuna had the sure hit effect off from him unknown to Gojo, remember these are two characters that can change the attributes of their domain on the fly. Otherwise Gojo should of been able to see that the sure hit was off from sukuna in the first place and be suspicious of it.

Gojo fans have 2 main points 1. How does heian era sukuna survive gojo's domain 5 times 2. How does he bypass gojo's infinity. . The answer is simple, sukuna doesn't bypass infinity and kills gojo inside his domain. Without mahoraga, sukuna won't hold back from using his cts's and while gojo had his hands full dealing with the domain's innate slashes, anything sukuna decides to throw at him be it a barrage of giant slashes at one spot or the fire arrow, its basically overkill. Outside he can't even touch gojo. Also, sukuna can change the conditions of his domain to make the sure it targets him while their domains clash(*and use it to increase the power of his slashes) and then flip the condition once gojo's domain is broken(*we saw gojo Changing the conditions of his domain midway through, also sukuna can expand the range of his domain by allowing an escape route and can change/alter the range as per his needs which again shows that for this two domain conditions don't mean much)

Personally, I think this fight goes to Gojo, UNLESS you think one of two things are true. 1) if Sukuna's Heian era is stronger and faster to a point where he more closely matches or surpasses Gojo, or 2) his cleave and dismantle can get amped by incantation mid domain to the point where it hits hard enough to kill Gojo while the sure hit is up. If neither of those are true, we'd likely come to the conclusion of Sukuna getting hit by just a millisecond of unlimited void without anything to negate or block it.

Here is my own nuanced take on this matter: Gojo is The Strongest Sorcerer, Sukuna is The Greatest Sorcerer. Gojo consistently overpowers and outskills Sukuna, but Sukuna keeps up using his arsenal and understanding of Sorcery. Within any realm of reason, a Open Domain should make a Closed Domain irrelevant, but Gojo is unreasonably strong. Gojo's raw power in any realm of reason should one shot anybody he hits with a Black Flash, but Sukuna's planning allowed him to live through it. Gojo always overpowered and outskilled Sukuna whenever it came down to hand to hand or a contest of strength. Sukuna always outplayed Gojo by utilizing all the tools at his disposal perfectly. The issue with Heian Era Sukuna is that he is a monster of raw might. He is not designed to battle on the level of Meguna and Satoru Gojo. Heian Era Sukuna is just as smart as Modern Day Sukuna, but he doesn't have the same tools. His tool kit, from what we have seen, is nothing but raw power. Cleave, Dismantle, and Fire Arrow all are just strength. His utility is underwhelming and that is what sets him apart from the other God Tiers. He does not have the versatility and bag of tricks required at the highest level of combat in JJK. He is weaker than Meguna and he is weaker than Gojo

Sukuna can't go all out on go/jo due to the halfman isn't strong enough to force sukuna to go all out. In chapter 234 it's said by hakari that sukuna is holding his ace/trump card cause he needs to fight others after he defeats gojo, so if they all ganged-up on him during the halfman fight he would be forced to unleash his ace. This just blatantly means go/jo isn't strong enough to force sukuna to go all out(halfman admits this). Edit: man you should never collaborate with that guy ever again

I feel like people miss the fact that HE STILL WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE WARP SLASH WITH OR WITHOUT MAHORAGA.
