Bride Liz doesn’t want a dress that’s too normal and wants something ‘Unusual’. Luckily Gok has just the thing, however bride is worried it’s a little too see through. Time for some quick alterations.

The mum is smart--not sold initially, but recognizes that her daughter really loves the dress and gives her the space to explain why. Mum works to view it through her daughter's eyes and seeks out aspects that she genuinely likes to compliment.

I love how floaty and ethereal this gown looks. And I loved the fact that it doesn't rely on plunging necklines or so much overt exposure. With the lining, it hints at what's there in a really feminine way. Gok really hit the mark with this gown.

Don't give the dress too much credit. The gown showed plenty below the waist. Gok realized the bride wasn't going to go for it the way it was and he opted to alter it on his own.

It was a sample, so I'm sure not a lot of women would fit into it right off the rack and the add of a bit of stretchy fabric probably cost them nothing. Gok works magic

I agree with others, it looks a bit odd with the liner stopping so short. If it was me I would spend a little bit more and do a floor length white sheath dress under the lace. But I am a bit older I guess. I am glad the bride was happy.

Exactly. The dresses the consultants pull are directly related to what the bride wants. So when people complain about what they pull, we must compare them to what the bride told them to pull, not what we like to see.

I don't know if it's actually a thing now, but my husband (we've been married 22 years) proposed to me in my car spontaneously and I've always been a bit sad that nothing thoughtful or planned happened.
