What’s funny is that Goku Black is completely mixed this season. It’s either been Goku Black snowballing the survivors down or he eventually gets jumped I don’t understand 😂

I'm at the point of thinking this game can never be balanced 🤦‍♂️. They nerfed survivors but made them absolutely stronger in key rushing. If you don't have at least 2 downs then the raider definitely may not win

They took away dodging, and at first: it fucking sucks. - Unconcious Control users. Dodging is still gonna result in occasional hits, wah. Fights are still easily winnable and raiders require different builds and strategies: Ginyu? Bum rush him as a team as often as possible. Baby? Run a vehicle build and nobody touches civilians until Baby is level 2 and he usually gets wrecked, he’s a snowballer that’s easily disputed with 7 players at level 2. Freeza? You’re playing hide and seek against someone without seeking abilities, jumping him takes teamwork, you’re probably better off STMing him. Cell, same as Freeza with more emphasis put on just *getting away* from Cell, who has a hard time catching up to vehicle builds, and immortal champion. STM the guy. Goku lac- sorry, Black? Just turn the game off. I’m so over seeing him as a raider, he’s not OP, just overused. The raider player base was 90% Goku Lack(ing) for awhile, and I don’t think I’ll ever like him as a result. His entire fighting system boils down to “Great at hunting people down. Less good at straight up fight.” He is Zamasu after all, it’s how he was designed. Hunt down solo players who are trying to run from him while actually not being that good in a fight, and while it’s a good idea: I still hate him. Imagine being the devs, constantly creating abilities and it’s always the same four being used. I would nerf dodging too to make the game playable in other areas, lets face it: it was *hard* to play raider season 2-5. And when Unconcious Control came out, it felt horrible. A bunch of B spamming invincible tards as a premade that you can’t do much against or the lobby full of solo rookies who couldn’t escape a dolphin on land.

yeah had a game where I couldnt do anything due to getting melee and stun blocked back to back by the whole team which made me realize survivors still op as long as they are ganging up on raider and know what they are doing

@@Mizuraka4437 Even when Broly came out, with the Super Transphere system being new I was still seeing Freeza, Cell, Buu and Ginyu. When Goku black came out I would go literal days without seeing a single raider outside of Goku Lack’s infinitely yapping ass. Edit: But I also recognize that the survivors had been so dominant for the last 5 seasons, Goku Blacks level of power was completely warranted to have any players who still enjoy playing raider.

On Raider Zamasu & Goku Black the nerfs on Survivors are welcome, thanks to these they can move beyond the L2 strat without the worry of early supplies, and the ST is not as threatening or game changing as before. Since the changes I keep seeing more and more people going for Rosé and the occasional Fused Zamasu. As it should have been from the start for these Raiders.

Considering how people are finding new ways to beat GB without the supplies goes to show they really don't need it. If this game is gonna be in a state of survivors get infinite buffs on top of broken skills and raiders get a point system, keep nerfing them into the ground.

The level 2 strat usually falls flat if you’re playing against competent players and tbh breaks the whole flow of the game as the raider. I did it once last season and felt like shit during it It’s way more fun to be cocky as hell while playing as Goku Black and shit talking while leveling up. Getting to Merged Zamasu is great and feels powerful

The only time I do the lvl 2 strat is when I’m literally getting cucked out of executions all match while also getting key rushed to hell and back 🫠 I WANT to evolve, but many times survivors just slip away and/or refuse to die

Zamasu and Goku Black are manageable. Difficult and annoying but manageable. The fact they nerfed the Dodge makes it so that you can only win as raiders. And before someone says "I win as survivor cause I'm running the Meta" then you're winning cause you're running the Meta. Which a lot of people don't have. If winning is dependent on having Meta skills then the game is just terrible. The skills should "enhance" your gameplay, not become a requirement for you to win.

I still find it hilarious they took the supplies away from level 2, and then didn't adjust GB&Z's level 2. I thought they were gonna nerf the level 2 and buff Rosé and Fusion Zamasu to incentivize evolving past level 2. I guess they just wanna watch the game burn at this point.

I personally think with no supplies at level 2 now means that cheelai active skill can actually be clutch if you try getting free sodas and place them in area X ahead of time you'll be the supply dropper for the team

Your survivors seem competent and skilled. Any match I run against Baby is over in just a few minutes, myself included. Seems like there's no way to 'escape' the raider unless they just let you go in a chase.

Baby is definitely OP but not exactly impossible to beat, just really depends on how fast the dude snowballs out of his level 1. I had a game where everyone had immaculate teamwork vs Baby, we had a couple of people being eyes in the sky with jaco ship or flying nimbus while we got keys and planted them and also dragon balls. The raider auto evolved after being stuck at level 1 for a while then after that we finished all the keys and summoned Then jumped his ass

Funny enough, that was still winable for them but they didn't have the right passive and active skills. Ranked games are gonna be so fun watching people run the same skills over and over in the same premades and make ranked look like we never left season 5
